Welcome to Sunset Escapes, this Cozy Beach Cottage was built in 1910 and is nestled in the Historic District on sunny Galveston Island. The charming home has a prime location. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Seawall/Beach and about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive the Historic Strand.

GALVESTON ATTRACTIONS: Pleasure Pier (1 mile), Seawall (less than 1/2 mile), Galveston Fishing Pier (5.6 miles), Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Moody Gardens (6.2 miles), Cruise Terminal (1.3 miles)

Wonderful Property

The stay at this property was wonderful—cozy, ideal for a relaxing getaway, and a short walk to the beach. The host was friendly, responsive, and accommodating, even allowing an early check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway!

We adored this beach cottage, sometimes beach rentals feel a bit cheap or lack a comforting energy - this was not the case here. We felt immediately at home, as did our dog (who typically waits until the last 5 minutes of a trip to feel safe!)! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and plan to be back in the future. We loved the abundance of windows which brightened up the space and made it feel larger, and loved that there was a sound machine in the bedroom!

Perfect beach vaca

This house is fully furnished without being too cluttered. We chose to stay at this house for every Galveston trip. The owners are always so accommodating! Thank you for sharing your home with our family!!

Great stay. Except for loud neighbors in pink cottage arguing nightly til past midnight. If they are permanent residents, good luck on your stay.

Wonderful!

The cottage is absolutely charming, well furnished, spotless, and cozy! We had a wonderful stay - the cottage is close to the Seawall and not far to the Strand. The neighborhood is lovely too - I can't wait to return to your beautiful cottage!

Cute little cottage

Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway to Galveston. We were in walking distance to the seawall and several of the museums and historic homes we wanted to see. This property was super clean and the decor was so cute.

Amazing Cottage!!

I normally won’t write out a whole paragraph on a review, but this house deserves it! I stayed here with my husband and 3 year old and we loved it! There was so many small details that the owners thought of that were vey unexpected but appreciated. They offered children books, toys for both girls and boys, beach towels, children cups/plates/utensils, my personal favorite and thoughtful for women was the makeup remover rags. Honestly this has been the best vacation home we have stayed in. We cannot wait to come back!! Thank you Lindsay, the hospitality and thought you have put into this home is definitely appreciated!!!

So enjoyed our 52nd years of marriage in our cottage you provided. Maybe because we are old, we didn’t understand how to find the cottage, we wasn’t given an address. The manager was so sweet to help us and took good care of us! We will always return to Galveston!

Super Cute and Thoughtful Owners

This place was so super cute and cozy! We stayed there with our 3 & 4 year old granddaughters. There were toys for kids their age already in the house along with everything you would need for the beach…even a cooler to use! Also washer and dryer - detergent included! Nice and quiet. Plenty of water pressure and hot water for showers. And an outside shower! We will be back, for sure!

Nice place

We stayed for 2 nights for spring break, it was a nice, clean, small but cozy space. Perfect for a small family, very close to the beach. Check in process was easy and simple. Definitely recommend
