We have stayed in a lot of properties but this one by far exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and very homey. There was a lot to do at the house which made it even more fun. Hostess was wonderful. We will definitely be booking again.

Everything about this home is fantastic, if I could give it a 10 I would. The host was wonderful with excellent communication, the house was very clean which is important to my family and had anything you may need. We felt so comfortable in this home and definitely will book anytime we are in town.

This an amazing home with so much to offer! Patio’s on 3 of the 4 sides of the house. Clean. Lots of details. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Accurate description and photos. Owners were very responsive and even provided an alternate route when construction was part of our route of travel to their home. Honestly, this was the absolute best VRBO experience we have ever had!! We just wish we could have stayed longer! Book this place, you will NOT be disappointed!

This was our second time staying here. The home is so comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. VERY welcoming for pets! Yard is enclosed with a short fence, which is perfect for our two small dogs. There is a large dog bed and other things available to make your pet's visit comfortable.Dawn is a wonderful host. She goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect.

This property, as well as the owners, exceeded our expectations. Communication was quick and thorough. We’ve stayed in several houses over the years but none were stocked as well as this one - so many extras plus quality kitchen items and small appliances. All the small touches, like the stocked coffee bar and cinnamon rolls for our first breakfast, made this stay even better. The outdoor sitting areas were all so beautiful with landscaping right out of a magazine. When we return to Howell, we will definitely book again. You will not be disappointed!

We come to Michigan from Florida to visit family every summer. We have stayed at several rental properties, and this one was by far THE BEST!!! It was my family of 4 as well as my mom. The spaces are so well utilized, we all had plenty of room and feel very comfortable both indoors and outside. My boys loved the basement with the games as well as the lake and all the goodies provided to have fun on the water! The host was very responsive and accommodating. But the cherry on top was truly all of the extras provided! The host provided everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. I have stayed at many many rentals properties, and even have one myself, and have never seen a host provide so many extra perks and amenities. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!! We will be back.

Family Weekend Trip

We truly enjoyed our stay and the house far exceeded our expectations. The host was very responsive and made sure our stay was relaxing and stress free. The house is well stocked and just as described in the listing. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Will definitely be staying here again.

This property was absolutely wonderful! The layout and design were beautiful and it was evident that the owners are extremely thoughtful in anticipating the wants and needs of their guests. We spent the weekend celebrating a 40th birthday with a group of woman and the house was the perfect space for both relaxation and fun. It was extremely cold outside during our visit but the house remained cozy and warm. Communication with the owners was great. We will definitely be booking another girls’ weekend in the summer!

This was an incredible place to stay. From the welcome baskets to the outdoor spaces. Our young children loved the small beach with sand toys and large trees providing shade. We cook most meals and they had every cooking tool you would need. There is so much to do that we did not even discover half of the amenities within the house. Would stay here again.

This place is very special and so are the owners, Dawn and Tim. We (6 adults) stayed here for a week while in Howell for a family funeral. Every detail in the house was so well thought out from the charming decor to the welcoming amenities. Everything we could have needed was provided from robes/slippers, sound machines, welcome basket, bathroom supplies, etc. It was 5 star hotel level. It was cold and snowing but we enjoyed the enclosed outdoor cabana with fur blankets and heaters. Dawn and Tim were great communicators, offering to shovel the driveway if needed. This is by far the best VRBO we have rented.

Amazing stay, again! This was a return visit, and the home continues to impress and delight. The owners have truly thought of every detail, and we could not be happier. Their commitment to guest comfort is evident everywhere you look. From the stunning design and immaculate cleanliness, to extra cell phone chargers, thoughtfully placed accent lighting, an incredible basement game room, easy access to the lake, generous extra toiletries, and even ring holders by each sink. Every touch feels intentional and welcoming (and the list truly goes on and on). Thank you for another wonderful stay—we can’t wait to return yet again.

Our family of 4 spent a few days here over the Christmas holiday. It was fully decorated, even the basement and the twinkle lights in the snow made it even more magical! Their home is completely updated and included all of the comforts and amenities of home and then some! The enclosed outdoor gazebo provided additional space to hang out under the cozy blankets. We’ve rented many, many homes and this was one of the cleanest that we’ve ever stayed in, I mean spotless. You can tell that the owners take pride in their home!

Always wonderful

I have stayed here multiple times now and every time is an excellent experience. My company has had me stay in Howell for the greater part of two months and I always try to stay at the Firefly Inn. The home is comfortable & relaxing and the owners are thoughtful and quick to communicate. I can not recommend this property enough.

Fun Weekend in a beautiful home

One of my favorite VRBO stays! Dawn was an excellent communicator and the pictures of the home do not do it justice. There were so many fun and creative touches that made this stay feel like home for us. Short drive over to Mt Brighton to Ski! Would love to come back!
