Perfect Fit

The entire stay from check in to check out was seamless. Communication from the host was timely and appropriate. Rhonda was interested and caring of our experience while in the home.The home itself was exactly as described, well maintained and provided personal touches throughout. Kitchen provisions are such that you can cook at home if you choose.This home is very near everything we could have wanted / needed.Thank you again, Rhonda, for having us!

Visiting our son who is stationed at near by Camp Lejuene.

This VRBO is a wonderful place to stay in the Jacksonville area. The owners do a fantastic job with communication and accommodations. It’s wonderful to know we have a nice, clean place to stay when we come back to visit our son again.

Family/Marine Wedding

The property was clean and spacious enough for our stay after our Marines wedding. The beds were comfortable and amenities were as described. It was a great location, quiet area to relax.

Pleasant property

This was such a nice place to stay. Very clean and so close to everything. Granted we weren’t there very much, but if we were, it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Visiting my Marine

The location was perfect for my visit with my Marine at Camp Lejeune. The house was very clean and nice; it felt like home. the owners are very kind and accommodating especially when we arrived into town 2 hours before check in. I cannot express my gratitude enough after a 16 hour drive. I would definitely recommend this rental. Until next time NC.

The Get-a-way spot is a good spot

It was very clean! That was the most important thing for us. The washer and dryer worked just fine, this allowed us to pack light. The location was close to the base, and town. Very quiet, except one Saturday the neighbor was putting up shelves or something but that was only for couple of hours during the afternoon. Otherwise nice neighborhood. If we need to back to Jacksonville, NC I would stay there again. Ross

We are avid traveler's; therefore, we know the importance of having a clean comfortable space to stay when you're away from home. Ramon is our youngest daughter's sport taxi driver. While I have taken on another career as a Government Contractor. We are both easily accessible to answer any questions or take care of any issues that may occur. In our spare time, we enjoy watching our daughter play club volleyball (watching college volleyball), watching football (Dallas Cowboys & Carolina Panthers) basketball (Los Angeles Lakers), hanging with family and friends, eating seafood & barbeque. We feel this is the perfect spot to sit back and relax. The Get Away Spot is located in a prime location that is minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The mall is less than a mile away with an AMC theatre located directly behind the mall. Starbucks is located directly in front of the mall as well if you need your special pick me up latte.
