Waterfront with spectacular view, close to restaurants and bars

Imagine yourself with a glass of wine, sitting on our front porch (we call it our Tuscan veranda), watching a breathtaking sunset over Monroe Bay. Unobstructed water view, located on "The Point", recently renovated with cook's kitchen, 2 beds, 2 full baths, sleeping up to 5 guests. Beaches a short 3 block scenic walk. Bring your bikes or rent a golfcart. A variety of restaurants/bars located within blocks. Wifi included. Ample parking for cars and trailers. When we have guests in the house we occupy our RV at the rear of our 17,000 square foot property. Nothing is shared between us and our guests including amenities. Guests are closer to next door neighbors than they are to us.

Lovely Front Porch

My family and I had a great time during our stay here. William was quick to respond to any questions we had, and the house was clean and comfortable. The complimentary coffee and snacks were nice and we absolutely loved sitting on the front porch where we could enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway weekend

Clean, spacious, comfortable inside and out, great amenities, great sunset views, coffee pods, water, snacks - my best friend and I were able to truly relax for the weekend. We will reserve this home again!

Beautiful home with fantastic view

We had a great time at this beautiful home. We were there last year and loved it so much that we returned this year. The view of Monroe Bay is absolutely spectacular. We especially enjoyed watching the sunsets. We look forwarding to visiting again!

Best Retreat Ever!

“Sunsets & Mermaids” was aptly named and the best quiet retreat ever. Beautifully appointed, clean and stocked with everything you would want or need in a vacation home away from home. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. I’d stay here again and again.

Perfect getaway!

This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Relax at Colonial Beach

Beautiful home with amazing views of Monroe Bay. Enjoyed lovely sunsets almost every day. We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach and into town. The house was spotlessly clean and owner lives on site if you have any problems.

Lovely getaway

My wife and I needed a little R&R and randomly chose Colonial Beach. We could not be happier with Sunsets and Mermaids. The house was beautiful and the view was unbelievable. Three gorgeous sunsets made our time away...a 5 star getaway.

This house was outstanding in every respect. It was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and well-designed. It came with all the amenities one could ask for. The beds were very comfortable. And the view of Monroe Bay was incredible!

Absolutely Beautiful

The house, furnishings and location is perfect. The beds were comfy, the living room spacious and the kitchen was stocked with every we needed. The view of the waterfront was so nice. The front porch decorated with plants and flowers was a pleasant spot to sip your morning coffee

We had a wonderful time !

Everything was great ! Beautiful view from the front deck! The house was perfect for us . Very clean and very well decorated! Loved it !!! We ate lots of great food… Went to Lennys, dockside, high tide and los Hermanos. Recommend renting a golf cart, we didn’t… But think we should have.

Fabulous

Have never used Vrbo before and found it very easy. Would definitely use it again. The house we rented was beautiful ... fabulous water view from front porch; layout of the house was fantastic; well stocked kitchen; great open space for entertaining; master suite was beautiful with huge bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

Post Summer Get-away

We all had a wonderful time at this property in Colonial Beach. At first, we wanted to get away from everything, but we realized a lot of beach destinations were a hike from civilization. We decided on this house and location because of the beautiful view, the property and it's proximity to shops and restaurants, while still be quiet. This was it!! Great service when we had questions, welcoming home, and spacious for the 2 couples that stayed. Would definitely come back!

Hidden Treasure

We loved this property! The location was perfect and the house was lovely. Every detail was taken care of to include snacks, coffee and creamers, and even bags for our laundry. We really enjoyed our stay.
