Relaxing Lake Getaway With Ample SpaceWe enjoyed our stay very much. The unobstructed views of the lake from all three levels is wonderful. We live in the desert so vacationing to water is a treat. A day before we checked in there was a strong wind storm that came through and downed two tree across the boat launch. The Host was very responsive to our questions and needs regarding lake access and the dock. The Hosts' Father/Father-in-law (real nice, helpful guy) came over and addressed all issues. The house is well decorated and provides ample space to accommodate several people. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay again.

We had a wonderful trip to Pelican Lake in September of 2025. It is a lovely setting and the weather was very comfortable. We found the home to be convienent and able to easily be adapted to the needs of our WC dependent daughter. Trent and Anna were open to our requests and worked with us to make things easy for her. One suggestion would be to offer a bath bench for the tub in the upstairs bathroom in your amenities. The Kayak was easy to get up and down to the water and was given a workout. We had the most fun sitting down be the water at sunset by the firepit. All in all it is a terrific property.

This property is spacious and quiet with plenty of room to get together or spread out, but well worn. Some kitchen utensils were un- usable. No fire extinguisher and fire alarms had batteries removed. The grill should be thrown out as it is nearly a fire hazard. The pontoon had old moldy life jackets, but no required safety equipment and the floor is rotten. If the pontoon was half price and if the house had 1000 knocked off the weekly rental it would be a good deal.

Pelican Lake Stay

House was comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone. Having garages was very nice. Dock worked well for our boat, and the beach/swimming area was great. Quiet location with nice large yard. Lots of time spent on the deck. Overall very satisfied with the property.

Space for everyone!

We had a very relaxing time in this home, the weather wasn't great so we didn't get to enjoy the water or shoreline. The hot tub was awesome with a view of the lake; excellent for watching the rain come in. The house was very clean and welcoming. There are so many areas to gather, perfect for families of all ages. Winter stay

We enjoyed a family Christmas here & appreciated the size of the home. The kitchen was great to make our meals & have space for us all to hang out together. The host communicated with me about check in and an issue they had resolved before we arrived. The only minor issue I had was that it had snowed the day before our arrival & I had to shovel the walk & in front of the garage. Overall we had a great stay & were happy to be able to have our dog with us!

Perfect getaway

The lake house was a perfect getaway for our annual girls week. It accommodated all of us very easily with many spaces to sit and visit. The coffee bar was definitely a hit in the mornings and the deck had the best sunset to enjoy the evening chats. The lake itself was a great way to relax and cool off with a nice sandy bottom. We definitely will be back!

Fun cabin for larger family gathering!

Perfect space for a sibling family get away! The lake was a nice mix of privacy, fishing and developed properties. The cabin was a great space for many people to gather, eat and visit. We would definitely come back!! Our only complaints are the quality of the mattresses in the bunk bed room including the trundle mattress that sank to the floor and the pee smell that room had. Also all the weeds in the overgrown landscaping made for a mosquito haven around the deck and the thistles at the bottom of the deck steps also provided some hassle to walk around and tiptoe through.

I’m a born and raised South Dakota boy, and while work has pulled me away, my heart is still back home. Last year, my wife and I bought what I consider my dream home on my favorite lake development near Watertown—Air Haven. I know the lakes around here well, and in my opinion, this spot is hands down the best place to relax and enjoy lake life.

My parents live just down the road and help take care of the place. I grew up fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, and jet skiing on Lake Pelican. If you're local, you know Kampeska has gotten a bit wild, and you also know the south side of both lakes is where you'll find calm water most summer days. There's nothing better than sipping coffee on the dock in the morning or enjoying a sunset with a cold drink in hand. I hope you love it here as much as I do.
