From the custom cypress wainscoting to the crawfish capital of the world decor, this home oozes everything that is special about the Cajun culture. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home sits on a large lot with pool and pool house that has another full bathroom. The backyard oasis has a large patio that is great for entertaining and the ice cold pool is sure to beat the heat!

Conveniently located right off of I-10 this gem is minutes from Cajun Palms RV Resort, the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Martin, Bayou Teche Brewery, and an abundance of restaurants specializing in the Cajun food that put Breaux Bridge on the map. Downtown Breaux Bridge will entice all of your senses. Cross the famous crawfish adorned bridge for local favorites like Award wining Cafe Sydnie Mae, the world famous Zydeco Breakfast at Buck and Johnny’s, antique shopping, and Joie de Vivre coffee shop. Take in a swamp tour on the Atchafalaya Basin and finish off the evening dancing the night away at La Poussiere Cajun Dancehall that has been open since 1955.

Family time for the weekend getaway

Great place inside and out. Mosquitos a night with lights on at pool need zappers. Lol. Not far at all from attractions and other shopping and eating out plus Breaux bridge very close too. Love coming here.

Thanksgiving trip.

We stayed here for thanksgiving to visit family and it was a very nice location they had a fire wood set up in the firepit and Cajun music playing on the radio when we walked out side. We were also left with a snores kit which was a fun family thing to do in the back yard. We also loved the recommendations left by the host for places to eat we went to little big cup and really enjoyed the food. Thanks for a nice stay!

Breaux Bridge House

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! The house was immaculate, the pool was so refreshing after a hot day at the Crawfish festival and the beds were comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend!

Perfect place to relax with friends and family!

This is the second year we rent the house during the summer and plan to make it a new tradition! :) Its always super clean and the backyard is wonderful. We will be back. The owners are great and left us snacks and a watermelon. Can't say enough good things about the house.

Best vacation rental

This house was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and beautiful both inside and outside with lots of thoughtful extras. The host left some welcome snacks which were very appreciated. I hope to stay here in the future.

Amazing property!!

My family absolutely loved this place!! The house was clean, pool was very nice, and overall an amazing stay! The pool was an amazing feature after walking the streets of New Orleans all day!! The owner was so very nice to even drop off a little travel bed for my baby!! Would give 10 stars if I could!! Will be coming back!

WORLD SERIES TRIP

We were very pleased with the property and the host were great. The Pool, the back yard, the patio, and the pool house were great. We used the house to entertain my Grandsons baseball team and thier familes. Everyone was impressed. Thanks gain for letting us stay and have the team over!

Coming Home

My husband and I stayed here with our two adult children over Easter weekend. We were visiting family and enjoying all the food and music and everything that makes South Louisiana home. The house was in the perfect location making everywhere easy to get to! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. After long days it was nice and relaxing to come home and relax. We especially loved sitting in the rockets on the back porch by the pool. Thank you so much for making our trip home so enjoyable!

Great Stay

Lovely house . Very clean upon check in. Owners stopped by when I failed to respond to email about pool maintnance. Local store about 5 minutes away, Walmart about 10. My grandson stayed in the pool so we reallly didn't do anything in town unfortunately. But he had a blast so that was ok! Sunsets were beautiful Thanks

Birthday Bash

Our stay at Maison Bon Temps was AMAZING!!!! We are so glad that we chose this property to host our granddaughter’s birthday party. The home and property was large enough to entertain our group of kids, teens and adults. The backyard had ample seating and even had a hammock and a corn hole set adorned with the home’s Crawfish theme. The pool was large and the outside pool house was a huge plus. The house was extremely CLEAN and the owners did a fantastic job with the decor. The artwork and historic prints that are throughout the home were a nice touch! The owners were very responsive to our needs/requests and they even left a birthday card for our granddaughter! We certainly will be back and our guests have already started telling others about this property. Thanks for the Bon Temps!!!

Perfect home away from home after long road trip!!

We LOVED our stay at this home. I am extremely particular about cleanliness, and this home was spotless. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens nice, extra blankets, and lots of room for a family of six to spread out. The kids LOVED the pool. It was huge, clean, and so much fun. Just what was needed after eight hours on the road. The outdoor gazebo with stereo was the perfect place to relax with a beer and watch the sun go down. It's a peaceful, rural location, set back from the road with no traffic noise. The house decor is charming, crawfish pics everywhere!! The kitchen is very well stocked and we were able to easily make dinner and breakfast no problem...plenty of everything you'd need. I loved that the hostess provided up with a few laundry tabs for the washing machine, coffee and filters, and dishwasher tablets. As we were only there one night, these things all came in handy. We would absolutely stay again, there were too many nice touches to mention. The hostess had a sweet little snack pack for us on the kitchen table with soda, chips, treats and a kind note of welcome. All details were thought of, and we were most appreciative!
