Smelled Strongly of Marijuana

I rented this property for my family, including my 3 children, and it emanated a strong odor of marijuana and mustiness The apartment was dirty, in bad condition, lights flickering, mold in the shower etc.. The smell made my wife and kids nasueas, so we had to leave the propert and rent a hotel room to stay in. The property managers (EA properties) did not respond back when i told them we would not be staying at the property due to the abhorent condions, and requested another property or our money refunded. This property is terrible and should not be available to rent.

Needs maintenance

Unit has a lot of deferred maintenance. Several light bulbs were out. All canned lighting in the living room constantly flickered so we couldn’t leave them on. Light fixtures without covers throughout. A bedroom ceiling fan runs extremely loudly. The door to the attic hvac needs to be secured. The shower is extremely moldy to the point we did not want to use it. Pot smoking fumes from the neighbor coming through the vents very strongly. And the best part was a drink that was obviously poured on my vehicle overnight in the reserved parking area.

Perfect location

This property was perfectly located for my family to stay for the weekend when my son proposed to his girlfriend. We needed to be nearby and the area is wonderful - great food, so close to the Katy Trail and very walkable. There are two bedrooms which were perfect for us.
