We had an excellent experience staying here with our family! With kids ranging in age from 1–11, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We especially loved all of the lake activities and the aqua park. The property was perfect for a family getaway, and we loved that it was close enough to Marquette to easily take day trips and explore the area!

Northern Michigan Family Vacation

Our family had an amazing time at this location! It was well taken care of and even better than we anticipated. The communication with the owners was excellent and they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Great little getaway

This home is a great getaway for two or for your whole family. It was clean and inviting. Angie gave great suggestions for sight seeing and dinner. We loved our stay so much we extended it four more days.

Pretty cabin on the lake

Very nice, spacious cabin steps from the lake. Very clean and had everything you need. We used the sauna twice and loved it. Enjoyed the fire pit also.

Relaxing!

Loved this place. Very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful view right on Farmer Lake. Marquette is only 30 min. away and groceries and restaurants near by.Will definitely be back!

Perfect Waterfront Hideaway

This cabin is perfect. The owners thought of everything. The beds were comfortable and the house was extremely clean. We were able to relax right outside the back door and enjoy the views from every bedroom. Would definitely come back.

Peaceful get away

Peaceful and relaxing getaway with many activities at hand. From a day with mini water activities at hand and a nighttime fire looking at the lake. We kind of had a better time.

Wonderful UP Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Point. 4 adults and 4 kids had plenty of room. Location was good. 30 minutes to Marquette. Sauna was fantastic! Playground in the yard was wonderful for keeping the kids entertained. Cabin had everything we needed.

Super!

There was a lot of space and it was very clean. Pillows were great. Instructions were clear and typical. Communication with Angie was easy. I'd love to stay here again if we can. Sitting in the family room and looking out at the lake was so peaceful. A couple in our group loved the easy access to go fishing.

Nice little getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Point! The cabin was clean and comfy. Every room had a nice view! Angie was very responsive and even checked in with us to see if we needed anything. :) We appreciated the kayaks that were available to us for use all week! There was plenty of wood available for us. The lake is small, but perfect for paddling about and swimming. The hospitality was wonderful! This is a great place to stay!

Memorable experience

This rental provided a relaxing weekend staycation for 8 friends. The property was well-maintained and offered all the amenities listed online. The fire pit was a super fun addition for the weekend, and they provided firewood for us! The sauna was so relaxing, and they give all the directions to use with ease. The lake was frozen over when we got to the property, but we were able to get some ice fishing done! Would love to come back to this property in the summer when there’s more swimming available!

Peaceful and Relaxing

This was a wonderful place to stay for our extended, early June weekend. Walking into the cottage, it is immediately welcoming and cozy with everything you could possibly need to feel at home and enjoy the outdoors. Sunset point is the perfect name as this cottage is situated on a corner of the lake with beautiful sunset views you can watch from outside on the dock, on the wooden swing, around the campfire, or even from inside while relaxing on the couch. It was extremely clean and smelled like pine. Appliances, window treatments, and hardware were very easy to use and labeled accordingly. The location was beautiful and relaxing. We hope to be back again!

Had a great time! Traveled with my 3 teenage kids and aging parents and the place suited everyone well! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Hosts were very quick to respond. Great location for that northern Michigan experience!

Nice relaxing property

Overall a great location and relaxing time. Angie and Jeff were great hosts and very responsive. The only thing we were disappointed in was the overall cleanliness of the cabin and the shape of the furniture. Especially given the cost of the stay.
