It is a Private Oasis

The property was not that difficult to find, although it is off a rather bumpy dirt road. But there's a gate to the property, and you really do feel like you're in your own private oasis. The cottage is small, but with two bedrooms, there's enough space to spread out if your party is small. Inside was very clean and comfortable. The internet and TVs worked perfectly, as did the appliances. I didn't spend much time outside, so I won't comment on the amenities there, but they looked fine. Overall, it suited my purposes fine, and I'll keep it in mind if I find myself down that way again.

Quiet, clean, private

The Oasis has it all, you may never want to leave. Take your sandles off at the door, the house is immaculately clean and lacks nothing in its thoughtful layout. The yard (should we say small park?), is huge and set up for day and night use. Our host, Catherine, was very friendly and responsive. Don't hesitate to book this place.

Lovely property

House smells good but very dusty especially under the beds. Floors are dirty, kids running around for 5 minutes and feet are black. Pillows in the small bedroom are hard. Shower drainage is slow. Utensils are dirty. Grounds are wonderful kids love playing outside.

Williston Stay

Property was a great place to stay for the weekend. Very close to Devils Den and Cedar Gardens. Great yard and outside sitting area.

This was a perfect location for myself and my adult daughter (22) to spend a few days bonding.

The property is very lovely and well maintained. It is stocked with the essentials and the beds are very cozy. The atmosphere is very cozy and the host provides plenty to keep you entertained. The neighborhood can be off putting, however the host has made sure you feel you are in a private oasis. The property is very secure with safety measures in place. As two females traveling alone, I never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe, even arriving at midnight the first day. We will definitely be back.

Hidden Gem

Great place to stay if you like privacy and proximity to Gainesville. We stayed for the weekend to go to the Gators game and the Onyx Oasis didn't disappoint. Beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. Outside area was great to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely be back and will look forward to enjoying another stay. Thank you Cat!

I loved the theme of the house inside and out! Much cuter than a hotel and more secluded. We had an amazing weekend here and I only wish we could have stayed longer!
