This unique bamboo home stands on the edge of a little hill with stunning views over Zicatela beach and the montains in the distance. The wildness feel of the pacific ocean is enhanced by the charm of local hospitality.

You will have access to the whole house with exception of the laundry/storage room.
Our house keeper will be available to you for a few hours 7 days a week and she is able to take your clothes to a local laundry (one large bag costs around $100 pesos- if required. Laundry takes 3 days).

Q: How to make a payment?
A: On VRBO or directly with us.
Airbnb accepts following payment method: credit card & pay pal.

- Q: Are children allowed to stay?
- A: The house is UNSAFE for children under 12 years old. The place is absolutely not suitable for children under 12 years old.
- Q: At what time are the checkin/checkout ?
- A : Checkin is at 3pm and checkout is by 11am. We are typically fully booked and thus unfortunately won't be able to accommodate early check-ins, as we want to make sure we got sufficient time to clean everything before you arrive.
- Q : We would be checking in at 7-8pm, is that a problem?
- A : Yes it's no problem if you arrive around that time :)
- Q : Can I smoke?
- A : If you wish to smoke, please do so only on the ground floor of the house. The house is made largely from bamboo and a small cigarette could lead to a big fire.
- Q : Are there options for dinner walking distance from the villa?
- A : There are places for dinner 10 minutes walking distance, and the restaurants last order is at 10PM. We recommend to use your car/motorbike or take a taxi when it gets dark.
- Q : Is there a pool for swimming?
- A : Yes. We provide a private bio-pool.
- Q : Is this property can accommodate more than 4 people?
- A : Really sorry, our maximum occupancy is only 4 people. Children older than 12 years old are counted as adults based on the Airbnb policy.
- Q: Can I rent a scooter or a bicycle?
- A: Yes, sure! Our onsite team can help you with scooter/bicycle rental.
- Q: Can I organise a photoshoot?

Varför värden valde detta boende
After 3 years in this beautiful country, with two new members in the family, our sun Camilo and daughter India, we realized we had to start a green & sustainable project , and what better place than Puerto Escondido, the mecca of Mexican surfing, surrounded by nature, sea and virgin beaches that add to our new adventures.
We created and designed a space integrated into its natural environment, that could be built in a respectful and sustainable way while remaining comfortable. All a dream!
At the end of 2021, with a lot of love and affection, we managed to finish Casa de la Tierra and we decided to share it with people who would surely enjoy and appreciate it as much as we do.
