Wonderful family trip

This is our 3rd time to say at this property & we look forward to it every time! Wonderful house and the owners have thought of all of the guests needs. Our children love the bunk bed room and we love how well kept the home is. Close proximity to the beach and easy to come back to and relax. We look forward to coming back again next summer.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was perfect for our family of 5. Clean and nicely decorated. The owners had everything we needed for our toddler. We loved the short driving distance to Johnson beach.

Perdido

The home was exceptional and exceeding our expectations. Could not have chose a better location. The home was very clean and so comfortable. The patio was really nice also. We cannot think of a single thing that would have improved our stay. The host was exceptional to respond to any request. Will definately rent for another month.

Wonderful trip!

This is our second time to book this rental property. We love the home and how great it is for a family with small children. The owners have thought about every detail & the location is a quick drive to the beach and restaurants. We look forward to coming back again next summer. This has become a favorite trip of ours!

Nice beach rental

Although the house could have been cleaned better, we enjoyed proximity to the beach, jet ski rental and grocery stores. Great to be able to bring our dog along.

Wonderful house

House was very clean, a lot of space and lots of places to sleep! Very well laid out. Beds were awesomely comfortable!! Neighborhood was in a great close location to beaches and food! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely loved staying here! This lovely home is beautifully decorated - very luxurious with just enough kitsch to keep it from feeling too formal. Literally everything you need is provided for you! Wonderful location (SO close to the beach and restaurants!), relaxing backyard and comfortable furniture/beds. Totally recommend staying here - I know we plan to the next time!

Amazing Home

This property is very well laid out, perfect use of space. The owners are super friendly and have everything you need for a perfect vacation. The home is in a central location close to lots of activities, and some really nice local restaurants are only a short distance away. The fenced backyard and outdoor space is perfect if you have pets. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location!

This house was perfect for our stay. The master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable and the house had beautiful artwork throughout. The backyard was wonderful as it was fenced in so our pup could enjoy, and it had outdoor furniture that we used every night. The owners/hosts were very responsive and helpful. The best part was the location, as we were able to visit 3 different beaches during the week we stayed and there were a ton of restaurants nearby to choose from. Overall great experience!!

Property is beautiful

The house is beautiful. The owner offers a ton of amenities that other vrbos haven't in the past from beach chairs , beach towels, etc. My only issue is when I booked the property 2 months prior to the stay I forgot I had only put 2 adults and one child. We invited other family to come and stay as the property sleeps up to 8. We had 7 in our group. I didn't think anything of it until the owner let me know how I booked because he was watching us on the door camera. I feel like as a group of 40 and 50 year olds we were chastised on the fact I honestly forgot. My entire family all had talked about renting the property again but now none of them feel comfortable with be watched by camera. Honestly its unsettling. I understand you want to watch for someone damaging your property. However, it felt like an invasion of privacy to know we were watched like we were criminals. Its unfortunate if that kind of thing bothers others. If that doesn't bother you, the house is in a great location in my opinion and well worth the money.

Bed Bugs

The good: Location, communication with owners, layout of the house. The bad: Shortly after I got into bed the first night we arrived, I noticed bed bugs crawling on me. It was horrifying. We didn't bring these bugs with us. There was evidence they had been in the rental for a while. We contacted the owners and they came over right away and immediately took the master bed out of the house after seeing the bugs for themselves. We also found another bed bug in the other bedroom. We had to spend money on another hotel room for that night and since it was spring break and too late to find another place and had to clean all of our things, we drove home the next morning. We spent hours cleaning. Welts showed up on me soon after getting home. We were reimbursed for our rental cost by the owners, but we spent money on gas to get there and back, a hotel room so we could have a place to sleep that night, and paid for a dog sitter just to drive to the VRBO and have to go home the next day and deal with a situation we should have never had to deal with. We're out that money. I don't believe the owners knew there were bed bugs and they were kind to us, but as business owners, it was their responsibility to make sure that this place was safe and in good condition and it was not.

Wonderful trip

Absolutely loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back. The home was decorated beautifully and extremely clean and well taken care of. Loved the outdoor area & our kids loved the bunk room. Every detail was thought of and it was such an easy stay with children. Close proximity to the beach. Made for a perfect family vacation!

Both David and Patti are Retired from Oklahoma. We recently moved to Florida to enjoy life in the sunshine state. David enjoys playing golf weekly, and Patti loves to be creative painting, sewing, and making things for her family.
We have 3 grown children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
We were foster parents for 15 years...fostering 43 children total.
