Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom open concept living - FANTASTIC view of the lake (open water) sets the tone for a relaxing stay.

Modern kitchen, Keurig coffee maker, ice machine, microwave, blender, lots of spices and cooking oils, pots, pans, baking sheets, towels, paper towels, plates, bowls, cups and silverware. Lots of gadgets for cooking at home to take in the amazing view.

Each adult bed has extra comfort bed topper with plenty of extra pillows. Beds comfortably sleep 10 with extra space for 2 on the futon couch or blow up bed.

Our dock is equipped for a boat tie off, we have 2 kayaks, a paddle board, rods and reels and water toys galore.

*The house itself is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeps 12. (6 adults and 6 children)*

We have covered outdoor patio seating for 12 to take advantage of the calming water. We also offer a screened in porch if you don't want to sit in the open air. It is perfect for morning coffee, or hanging out while the kids play in the spacious yard.

The backyard has plenty of space for outside games (we offer cornhole and ladderball) . The fire pit and chairs down by the lake are a perfect way to enjoy the s'mores and sunsets.

* 3-night minimum stay on Holiday Weekends and in the summer!!
* Pets: We are happy to accommodate your dogs (under 50 lbs please) - 2 maximum. There is a mandatory Pet Fee.

Easter getaway

The property was perfect for our needs, the kids enjoyed kayaking, and our fur babies enjoys the back yard. The owners were very responsive if we had an issue, the neighbors were very friendly, and the fish were always biting. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the views and fishing off the dock. The house is set up well. The sliding glass doors and windows give it a very open feel and allow great views from the house. The yard is also well kept and peaceful.

Canton Flea Market Weekend

We had such a great time. The drive into Canton was a little longer than I expected but so worth every minute. I greeted the day with a cup of coffee with the egrets by the lake and ended the day the same way…without the coffee. It was so fun and relaxing to watch the fish jump out of the water each morning (I assume feeding) and watching the birds play on the wind currents In the evening.

Very relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. The property is advertised as being fenced for pets, but the fence between the 2 houses was leaning against the house. Thank goodness we brought a rope for our pet.

Great Spot on the Lake

Enjoyed our stay. House was in decent shape. Could use a little bit of a refresh and a deeper clean. Overall, very happy with the house and our stay, would rent again.

Great family vacation at the lake

We had a great stay. We spent lots of time outdoors. We love the covered patio, the shady yard, the fire pit, the dock, and swimming in the lake. The firewood provided is not split and not dry enough to burn well, so you might want to get your own. The king bed in the master was comfy. The bunk beds are very squeaky because they don't have appropriate bracing. We caught lots of small channel cats off the dock. We had fun renting a pontoon boat for half a day, renting a jet ski for a few hours, and going to the local fun park. The kitchen is well stocked, so we ate in for all our meals. The host was great. We would definitely recommend this place for families wanting time to unplug and connect with each other and enjoy the lake.

Overall, a great stay. Kitchen was stocked well and there were plenty of bath towels for everyone. Would have liked more hand towels and wash cloths, but it was fine. The location on the lake was great. The back yard and patio areas were very nice.

House

Beautiful house but has stains on carpet. Bunk beds squeaks if people are on top beds. Kayaks have spiders, washed them but spiders kept coming out of cracks. Recommend getting insurance to cover any damages.

Beautiful view

This house was the perfect stay for a long weekend. Bedding, towels and floors were very clean. Laura provided a couch cover so our dogs could also enjoy vacation. The neighborhood feels tucked away in the country with proximity to the neighbors still close. Restaurants aren't up the road so we meal prepped, bringing all of our own supplies. Lake toys and floating devices were included but bring your own beach towels. We made awesome memories here.

Fun Family Spot

We had such a great stay at Laura's place. The little cove they are in is perfect for the kids to fish, kayak, and play. The house with the big windows to wake up to the view of the lake and have coffee is beautiful. Will definitely go back!

Curry famiy adventure

The house was amazing. From the views to everything provided they have it well supplied. It was clean and well taken care of. We had serious weather issues and Laura was amazing helping us get information and offering for us to stay longer. She is a wonderful, responsive host. Honestly this house is set to walk in, relax at the lake and enjoy your time. We most defintely will be back. 12 out of 10!

Great Place to get away from the big city.

What a wonderful 5 days. Peace and quiet. Came from Houston and only took 3 hours to get there. Everything we needed was provided. We are picky mattress people & the king mattress was wonderful. We will be back!!!!!!

WONDERFUL VACATION SPOT!!!!!

What a beautiful home!!!! The views are outstanding; the tranquility and peace that you experience is a true understatement. The kids had so much fun on the dock and swimming near the house. They ran barefoot in the yard and we with the large windows that face the water we could keep a close eye on them at all times. We will definitely be back!!!!!!! :-)

Wonderful clean and comfortable home. Lovely setting and location. Family trip to Trade days. Worked wonderfully as our base. Brookshires super short distance away. Another convenient factor. We really enjoyed the home and its spaciousness. Views were so amazing.

This home took our breath away when we walked through the doorway. There are views from almost every room in the house. Looking at the water is calming to us. We LOVE the high ceilings and light the huge windows let in. This is a perfect home to host family reunions or friends for a long weekend.

The screened in porch has a table and chairs, perfect for morning coffee, or hanging out while the kids play in the yard. There is also a covered porch that connects with the Master Bedroom.
The backyard has plenty of space for outside games. The fire pit and chairs down by the lake are a perfect way to enjoy the s'mores and sunsets.
Kayaks, tubes, floats, fishing rods and reels, hooks, and life jackets are available for use. Mooring Whips are attached to the boat dock to secure your boat, boat lift is unavailable for use.
We have a foosball table in the garage, corn hole, Yardzee, and big Dominos for outside games.
