The 43-acre Sandpiper Cove is a wonderful place to take in the Florida sunshine, with grounds that include 1,100 feet of private beachfront, a nine-hole golf course, five swimming pools, three hot tubs, six tennis courts, boat slip rentals, and on-site dining at Louisiana Lagniappe and Rick’s Sand Trap Beach Bar & Grill. A wealth of local attractions are nearby as well, from Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park to the Destin Harbor Boardwalk.

This particular condo is sunny and bright, offering a waterfront view of the canal off Destin Harbor. The interior has all the ambience of a classic beach house, with central air to keep you cool all summer and sliding glass doors that open to a spacious balcony. There's a small but well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and vibrant teal backsplash, as well as a four-person dining table and a breakfast bar for two. Additional amenities include TVs in the living room and bedroom and an all-in-one washer/dryer for your convenience.

Nice gated location

Less than 5 minute walk to the beach which is across the street and there are a few golf places on site, with our booking we had the ocean canal right behind us which made it easy for hubby to do what he enjoys "fishing"

A Welcoming, beautifully updated Condo

- [ ] Washing machine/dryer bug 0. Somehow figured out how to wash one load and next load kept displaying a IE (Inlet Error) code. Machine seemed dirty. Could need a filter cleaned. Had to take heavy wet load to laundry room and pay for wash and dry. Machine too difficult for a rental. Need an old school washer and dryer. - [ ] Front left eye on the oven not working. Dial just spins. - [ ] Ice maker has a loud. Sounds like knocked on the door. Not a big deal for us but could be for another. - [ ] Local live channels a big zero. Need at least a min cable service. - [ ] Battery low on the thermostat. Tried to turn on heat as it got kinda cool today inside. Couldn't get it to switch to heat. May have been user error on our part. But kept reading battery low. - [ ] Light switch to ceiling fan in master is wired to the same switch that turns on recessed lights. So can't run fan at night.....cause lights are on. Probably need an independent switch for recessed. All being said we loved this condo and will book again here. We are landlords and always want to know about any of the inconveniences. Nice update in the home. Kitchen stocked well and couches really comfortable. Along with king bed and linens. Location a 10 and loved the Lower 1st floor level. Condo wasn't ready at 4:00 as expected but was ready at 5:00. We Went for drinks at Sandflea and enjoyed the views so not a huge deal. Condo was clean and ready at 5:00.

Girls weekend

I booked this condo for my daughter and I for a last minute, girls trip. The condo was very clean, and cutely decorated in a beach themed: The location was very convenient to the beach, and sits directly along the canal. I would definitely stay here again!

Quiet with perks

This was our first time in Destin and this was the perfect spot. We loved being on the canal but with access to a beautiful beach. There is plenty to do on the property so we didn’t venture out much. The place was very clean, had a great deck and provided everything we needed. Very friendly people and plenty of places to walk the dog.

Week at the beach

Everything overall was perfect. This is a great location. Close by all the restaurants. The beach was great and having beach service during our stay was fantastic. Easy to get to the beach. And the snack bar on the beach was great too. Getting acquainted with the other guests in the beach was fun. The only critiques we have was the washer and dryer was not great. Took a really long time for the clothes and towels to dry.

Great Time!

We love Sandpiper Cove Resort! It was a wonderful much needed get away. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We received a text stating the condo was clean and we could check in early. Which was awesome!

We always stay at Sandpiper and this unit is great.

We love Sandpiper Cove being on the canal is our favorite. First time in this unit and it was great. Vacasa could invest in some new bed linens and the unit could use a blender but overall it was exactly what we wanted and would definitely book this unit again.

Sunny, chilly weekend

We had a great time! Note that it is a dog friendly location, so the unit smelled a bit like a dog (we didn't have one with us), but we have dogs at home so we didn't mind. My sister, however, has allergies and was unable to come visit us in the unit while we were there.

A little disappointed

Booked property for 3 nights, we didn't get access to our unit until 60 minutes after our scheduled check in time because the unit was not cleaned earlier. Very minimal for kitchen appliances, would think the coffee maker would at least have coffee filters or salt and pepper in the cabinets. TVs in the bedroom and front room did not work. Contacted Vacassa twice and no one came to fix them. Overall loved our time in Destin only disappointment was our accommodations.

Great proximity to the local restaurants and very cute and clean

My husband and I stayed here for a short business trip. Unfortunately it was very cold and rainy the entire trip so I cant speak to any factor related to the beach except distance. This particular unit is at the back of the complex so it could pose a little challenge if you were walking and carrying a lot of stuff but there was beachside parking so that’s not really a huge issue. This particular unit was newly remodeled and was super cute and clean. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the coffee maker but it seemed to have everything one would need to cook. It was on the canal and if the weather had been nice, I would definitely have spent some time on the porch. With that said, as a note to the owners, the porch could use a face lift to match the very nice interior remodel that you’ve done. Also, somewhere I read that the neighborhood had a fitness center, however this was not the case. Would stay here again though.

If you can't get in, you can't have fun.

Having stayed at Sandpiper Cove many times we knew what to expect from the resort and we were not disappointed, it's always lovely. That being said, the unit was equally enjoyable...almost . We arrived Christmas afternoon and attempted to enter the code for the door lock to no avail. I called the number from the text messages without success. I then called the help line from Vacassa (the managing group?) and was told to stand outside and they would send someone. I explained to the guy that it was in the 20's and he replied "thanks for your understanding, but please wait out there" until they could get somebody to come check out the lock. We never heard from anyone, so I made another call and was assisted by a lady that was able to immediately change the code over the phone! This happened again... lock code failure! No big deal, I'll call and have them change the code. Not so fast...I was told this time that it could not be done. We ended up just leaving the sliding door on the back patio unlocked and used that as our primary entrance from outside. It was unnerving knowing that every time we left the unit we were leaving our dog and our valuables unprotected. We will absolutely stay at sandpiper cove again, we love it there. Rent through this company again? That is in question.

Lovely place to stay and top notch location

we loved our time in this cute townhouse convenient to so many restaurants and boardwalks and has a private beach access which was a huge plus. very well-maintained property super clean and has everything you need to cook for the family. We are definitely going to be coming back often
