Perfect Anniversary Weekend

Wonderful cabin set in the midst of a community of log cabins. Easy access off of Rt 64. Denise, the host was prompt with her responses to help ensure we had everything we needed.

Great Cabin!

Great little cabin with everything you could possibly need. The rate was very fair for the house. The host stocked the house nicely and even had dog bowls for my puppy. The bed was comfortable and the house was very clean. Such a cool community, would stay again!

Great quick getaway!

House was just right for two, kitchen well stocked for cooking and close to downtown Murphy to explore. Took our 2 small pups, even better! House looked at pictured. Enjoyed the fire pit out back - many local places to pick up wood. Perfect peaceful weekend!

Mountain Get Away

We truly enjoyed our time in the mountains. We had some local business to take care of in Murphy, NC and staying in this quaint cabin made our work time into a mountain get away. Everything we needed was available in Denise's cabin. We enjoyed taking a walk in the neighbor and looking at all the other cabins. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We were very impressed by everything about this property (except for the uncomfortable couch). Our host was very responsive and over-the-top thoughtful. There was pretty much everything there that a person could want. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful property. The only complaint I have is the sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on and when the temperature got down into the teens, the cabin was hard to heat. The host was very communicative with us and we appreciated that.

Nice couples cabin

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Once you figure out the tv you can watch some major networks. Can see maneuverability being an issue once the other cabins are sold. A one lane road with few turnaround options. Will definitely stay again in the future if in area.

Cabin in Murphy, GA

The cabin was just right. It contained everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Denise checked in via email/VRBO to see if we needed anything. We chose the cabin because it was pet friendly. She had put out food and water bowls for our little dog. One extra added amenity was an Alexa Echo Dot which we used for easy listening music. We would definitely recommend this property and Denise.

Great cabin and location

The cabin was nestled into a nice community of similar cabins with friendly residents and neighbors. It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do and what we wanted to see. The porch and firepit were both very relaxing and there was no lack of hot water due to the on demand system installed. I was somewhat taken aback by the small size of the fireplace and it would have been nice to have a BBQ grill available. Be aware that it was challenging to drive to the cabin if there was another vehicle on the very narrow road so be prepared to back up.

I loved my extended stay in the mountains.

I thoroughly enjoyed my extended stay in the cabin. It was comfortable, well furnished and centrally located for the activities I wanted to take in. Everything was clean. The owner was easily reached and she checked in to see how my stay was going a few times. I enjoyed walking my dog around the area too. I slept well and had all the perqs of home there. I was able to work remotely from the cabin with no issues. The internet there was great. I had a good phone signal with Verizon. I will be back.

Great couples cabin. Everything we needed was available including kitchen and full size refrigerator. Murphy is a great place to visit and found good food downtown. Location puts you close to Blue Ridge, Helen, Ga and within 1.5 hrs of Cherokee NC, with the eastern entrance to the Smoky Mt National Park

Nearby outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, rafting are close by. 10 min. to downtown Murphy and 25 min to Blue Ridge. Both offer shopping, restaurants, and a casino. The is a log cabin neighborhood including other short-term rentals and full time residents. Enjoy cooler temps in summer, some snow in winter, and lovely fall leaf season.
