It was super convenient to go to Rum Point to get a boat to Stingray City. We also went fishing with a guide that picked us up at the Kano dock. We did a lot of kayaking from shore - we kayaked to the bio bay, starfish point, and to a great snorkeling spot offshore. We loved sitting in the screen porch for morning coffee and late night drinks. Gardens of the Kai was a beautiful area and so relaxing.

Perfection

An absolute perfect stay on the Caribbean. Condo was newly updated with lovely furnishings, kitchen was great and location cannot be beat…..I’ve never had to take so few steps to my beach chair. Aside from the TV being hard to work & some of the beach loungers being uncomfortable, truly a great spot. Hoping to come back!!!!!

Beautiful property at a stunning location

We were thrilled with our stay at this property. The location is ideal - we loved walking out the front door to swim, kayak and paddle board everyday. The house is beautifully furnished - brand new furniture, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We walked to Kaibo every morning for coffee and could continue on to starfish beach if we wished. Rum point had great boat trip options -- no need to drive to Seven Mile for that. Conveniently located to explore both ends of the island, We cannot wait to come back!

Love Three Little Birds

We have stayed here 3 times and you can’t find a better spot to stay,it’s wonderfulThere can always be improvements, one of the SUP boards didn’t have a fin, the kayak didn’t have backrests and there’s a tree limb that 2 of us hit there head on by the chairsHaving said all that it’s the best place I have ever been

This place is nice. Kitchen well stocked. Wish they have a few beach chairs that we could take with us while beach hopping. But overall we enjoyed the stay. Property management company gave us a checkin document that has a wrong phone number for manager on site so we couldn't reach them until she stopped by one day. They need to update this phone number.

Great property and beach location

We were there in August and it was very hot out but the AC in the house kept us cool. Best spot - walk out directly to beach with no one else in your view. Each night Hermit Crabs would walk the beach and gather. Lots of starfish in the bay. Home covered with tile flooring and was updated. Kitchen was very well stocked. Loved walking to get tea and coffee and croissants in the morning from Kaibo across the street. Very quiet community this time of year. Enjoyed both Rum Point and Kaibo beach clubs and restaurants. The water was soo warm in the ocean and the pool was hot. Not refreshing this time of year but marine life (starfish) were abundant and we liked being able to take the Kayak to Bioluminescent Bay. There is a little bit of Bioluminescence in the water right in front of the property but not as impressive as Bio Bay. Loved staying here and would come again! Only negative is that we had to contact the property manager via phone to get check in instructions because they were not sent to us. I tried email and didn’t get a response first. Lady on phone was a bit rude. No one had been in the property the day before but they didn’t allow early checkin. Emails and documents had different on site contact people listed (Judy and Steven) but we never needed to reach out.

The beach on this side isn't as clear, blue and beautiful as SMB but the wildlife makes it a better location in our opinion. So many crabs and lizards, neat fish in the water and beautiful sunsets. The house itself is gorgeous and well-stocked. Our property manager and cleaning lady helped us transition from the other side of the island and were amazing. We would absolutely choose to rent this house again on our next trip to GC. Rent a car, because you have to travel but the quiet and calm of Cayman Kai is so worth it!

Villa is on the quiet side of the island, 45 minutes from the touristy and crowded side. Excellent water and beach right outside the front door! beautiful clear water! quiet and peaceful

Perfect location

Incredible views right on the beach. No crowds on this part of the island. Only shared the beach with one other couple. Found starfish right off the beach. Good food and a grocery store were just a short drive away. One very good restaurant was walking distance across the street. Incredible sunsets each night. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, quiet location

We stayed in unit #1 right on the beach, and it was perfect. Very clean and well stocked, with everything we needed. Made much use of the paddle board and kayaks. Walked to Rum Point, as well as Starfish point, so great location. Would absolutely stay here again...highly recommended!

Peaceful Beach Lounging

Property was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Walking right out onto the beach is just what we were looking for. Beautiful sunsets, and an acceptable drive into the city for excursions. Had an issue with the AC one afternoon, and the property manager had a technician out to get it fixed in a matter of hours, no trouble at all. Loved it!

Exactly as advertised

Many times, people take poetic license with their pictures and property descriptions. That is not the case here I honestly think the description under sells, the beauty of the ocean directly out the door, and the views were magnificent. The property was clean and adequately furnished. We would definitely come back.

4th visit beach needs attention

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4th stay in this villa. 2017, 19, 22 & 23. Villa was lovely as usual, but not as clean as prior visits. I was told that the owners were staying there before our visit, so I don't know whether they that had "cleaned" or housekeeping. In the past it has been spotless, however this stay, it had not been cleaned to standard. Stove, mirrors, and hair on the floors behind doors. The Gardens of the Kai complex need to address the tree and bush roots on the beach as it is taking over what once was a pristine beach. This was apparent last year and now it is 75% worse that then. Very overgrown. Owners/renters from other villas OUTSIDE of the complex walk there dogs daily on this private beach and although they do pick up the poop, they cannot pick up the urination. Dogs are walked off the leash and left to roam around the properties and when seeing people, some are running up and barking at them. In addition,on our first full day, a person who I presumed was the Gardens of the Kai manager came over to the villa and was taking photos with her phone. she asked me whether I was wondering what she was doing, then goes on to question me about how many people are staying in the villa vs. how many beach chairs that were in front of it and said that they were the Gardens of Kai seating for all to use although seating was in plenty, and no-one was using. She told me to put them back" if we were not using them and I told her she is welcome to them and was shocked by the hostility because the seating must have been there for sometime and we had only just arrived. I write this review in hopes that the issues raised receives attention, especially the beach as that is in serious need of TLC to get it back to the standard it was. I hope that if next time we visit, our stay will be like it was back in 2017, 19 & 22. (A closing note... photo of the pristine beach is not as it is now, it is overgrown with tree roots all along it.

It was a great location and we hope to return every year. The unit was very clean, had lots of beach towels, lounge chairs on the beach just steps from the front door. We kayaked to see the bio-luminescent and enjoyed many great meals walking across the street to the Kaibo restaurant.
