Great stay-

Entire apt was neat, clean, well stocked. Close to (by car) good seafood restaurants. Apt is on street side of building, but pool and beach access is just across parking lot on ground floor.Wish weather had cooperated for sunning.

The room faces the street so you get a lot of traffic noise and you can hear your neighbors if they get loud. The room itself is clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a beach vacation. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Fantastic Host!! Very Cute Room, Incredible Access to Beach!

This stay at Kelly and Justin's was absolutely top notch. The accommodations were very clean. Check in was simple and exactly as described, and the room was literally just steps away from the beach ! (Just remember to bring your key with you to and from ;)). This was my first stay in Daytona and I will say the beach and neighbors where a bit of a mixed bag. Regarding the rental though, last but not least the entire weekend was started off on an incredible note as the hosts provided the sweetest surprise birthday gift bag full of goodies for my son. Completely unexpected and so so generous and thoughtful. My son literally said "Ms. Kelly made my day, when do we see her so I can thank her?!" Needless to say thanks Kelly and Justin- wishing you all the best!

The BEST stay!

I used this condo for a work week and it was amazing. The unit was the most clean and most welcoming I have used to date. The hosts are extremely hospitable, the pool was clean and well kept. I would absolutely stay there again!

Nice easy stay

Great stay while checking my son into college. Cheap and convenient. Beware though that you might have loud neighbors like I did. Nothing my “sounds of rain” couldn’t drown out. The host was super fast with any questions too. Thank you and I’ll be back

Condo was clean and the dehumidifier and air purifier were nice touches. They really thought of everything you might need. I enjoyed my visit. Right on the beach and parking was not an issue.

This place was pretty typical of a beach town with public beaches. Very close to the beach with a private entrance. Lovely beach. The room faces the main street so a lot of street noise. Worth the price, though. I did not want to pay local hotel prices and I felt safe, comfortable, and content.

Cute, beachfront with pools.

It was all very nice except for connecting door to unit next door. There were issues going on at the neighbors and unfortunately the connecting door from when this was a hotel is still in place so we could hear everything and at one point there was actually an attempt on the part of the neighbors children to enter our room via that door. It needs to be better secured and soundproofed or removed altogether. If not for that our stay would have been lovely.

Hidden gem

We loved this property!! The location of the sea dip resort is amazing, private beach access, nice outdoor pool and anything else you can think you’d need. No issue with the elevator which I saw was an issue in others stays. The resort sold ice which was so nice to be able to grab right before we walked the two second walk to the beach. The condo it’s self was perfect for the two of us, we don’t need anything huge since when we go on vacation we typically last spend our time enjoying the area and not sitting in the room. The hosts have really worked hard to maximize the space and provide everything you could need to enjoy your stay. 10/10 will be staying here again.

Quick stay in Daytona

My wife and I booked this room for the Rolex 24 Hour Race at the Speedway. The room is good for a short stay in the Sunshine State. The shower can be tricky to find hot water and the AC doesn’t cool the room, but this no-frills room will provide a clean place to lay your head down. Also, there is no ice at the resort, so grab a bag for $3 at the gas station across the street.

Wonderful

This place is wonderful. It was clean and many little sweet touches that made us feel welcome. Communication with owner was excellent and responses were quick. There is some construction still going on from the hurricane and beach access is about a block away. The pool looks out over the ocean and is beautiful and well maintained. The sunrises are spectacular and we got to see 2 rocket launches.

Very Clean

Room was very clean. Description said kitchen/kitchenette, there was a microwave and small dorm fridge. They room was in a convenient location. There were 2 of us and we had reservations for 9 nights, only given 4 washcloths. We would have brought some from home if we had known we needed to.

The property is run down, elevator didnt work 80% of the time, being on the 4th fl was quit a trip up and down the stairs, heated pool was not heated. The room we rented was small, it was very tastefully decorated and had everything and more we could need. It is street side so no view. Balcony small so really could'nt sit out and enjoy the great outdoors by your room.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed

We didn’t have any hot water for six of the first seven days. Not able to shower for six days. Advertised as a beachside studio and it was not. Right on the main road through Daytona and super noisy and loud. Owner lied about having a plumber there and fixing the water issue.

Sea Dip Daytona Beach

The property is in fairly good shape. One elevator was having problems. Wifi worked and worked well. The room was fully equipped with everything I needed and much more. It even had lawn chairs, hats, cooler, bathroom supplies, dinnerware, charger ports with cables, and more. I was not happy about the description on the website listing which did not match the property name. The website was not easy to figure out how to get the information to find the property. I had to call to get it straight. Just finding a number to call was difficult. Attempting to get an answer by email was not sufficient to get clarified. The main problem was the description on the VRBO website did not match the name of the resort. That caused all my confusion.

All around terrible experience. NO HOT WATER!

The unit is one of the only ones in the building that has no balcony and faces the street and not the ocean. That is not explained in the listing. There is no dresser or closet to put or hang up clothes. Worst of all there was no hot water. It took way too long to get ahold of the owner and receive responses. Also the front desk explained the no hot water issue had been a problem for one week already, so I should have been notified that the unit was not ready before I arrived. I stayed in a unit in the same building 2 years ago that was much nicer with an ocean view and much more professional owners, so there are much better options in the same building.
