Family girls trip

Booking was easy, location was easy to find. Parking was a nightmare, we stayed in a 4 bedroom that’s sleeps 14 but was only given 1 parking pass. Upon arrival the location was beautiful as well as the balcony. The house does not come with blankets only what is on a hospital be. So make sure to pack a blanket if the weather is going to be colder. There is not an ice maker, so we couldn’t get any ice.Overall our stay was fantastic just want to make sure you have a heads up before booking so your prepared

Nice, but parking tough

The place was very nice, but we had trouble with parking and were misinformed by Vacasa. They said on the phone to “park anywhere” and there was no parking pass inside the condo, except for an overflow lot across the street. Then we almost got towed right before family reunion event. Vacasa did not cooperate and refused our requested partial refund.

Room 2001!

The room was nice. The balcony was amazing. However parking for this room was tricky having a bigger suv. Other than that we had a great time! Would definitely come back to this room!

Location was AWESOME, some amenities not so much

The view was amazing. It's located close by a lot of things. The elevator situation was AWFUL. We spent 40 minutes on 3 different days waiting for an elevator. The oven doesn't work and only one burner on the stove works. I feel like a little more information before arrival on the parking would have been appreciated. We spent 30 minutes trying to figure out where our assigned spot was.

Disappointing

I’ll start with the positives which were the location to the beach, the view and the overall layout of the unit which worked well for our large group and that’s where it ends. The rest of the time we were all dealing with dirty or broken things in the unit. We were supposed to be notified if the unit was available early for check in and we were never informed. I decided to go up to the unit to check and our code worked so we did get in early but it would have been nice if we were informed. Once we all made it in and the kids were playing inside their feet were black after about 30 minutes of being barefoot inside. The washer was full of mold and mildew. We had to buy some tub cleaner and clean it ourselves before we could use it. The tv in the living room doesn’t work, the bunk beds were broken, we had a toilet leak in one of the bathrooms and 2 days after I informed Vacasa someone came to fix it and said the whole thing needs to be replaced, then the flapper broke too and it couldn’t even be flushed so we were down a toilet in our room. All the furniture outside is dirty and stained, the throw pillows inside are stained and dirty. Our pool and beach gate code never worked and when I asked Vacasa for help they never helped. We had to ask another guest staying at the property for theirs. We have never had such a negative experience with a rental property before and would not recommend staying in this specific unit. It’s seriously lacking some general maintenance updates.

Beautiful view

Large balcony loved the view. Walking distance for a lot of shopping. Wasnt a fan of 1 car spot for 4 families but was able to pay for parking across the street. Overflow parking was always full. Had some issues with a moldy washing machine and couldnt use it.

Cleanliness

The condo was not great but not terrible. There were a few red solo cups not thrown away. There was a dirty soap bar left in one of the baths. There was chips in the carpet. The beds were uncomfortable. It wasn’t a terrible stay but it wasn’t the best.

Flew in from across the country

The home is beautiful. Well laid out. Fantastic view. The property management left much to be desired. I reached out to let them know the coffee maker did not work. My only response was a ticket had been submitted. Eight people without coffee is not acceptable so we went and got one. There was only one trash bag for 8 people for nearly a week. We went and got more. We kept stepping on shards of glass that weren’t cleaned up. The house is great. The management of it was not.

Beautiful

We love staying at this condo. The views are beautiful from the balcony. We’ve stayed here in October of 2023 as well. The condo is very nice. However, we provided private feedback to the for a few updates and replacements to make other guest stay more comfortable. But definitely would book again.

Perfect Family Beach Getaway

This was the perfect place for our extended family of 13. The enormous porch was the icing on the cake and the ocean views from the condo and porch were amazing. The listing was exactly as described!!

PCB stay in condo 2001

It was great, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of room. Balcony is huge! Only complaint is parking if you have more than one vehicle. Would absolutely stay again.

Terrible

When we arrived the property was dirty, several sheets were stained, the floors were dirty, stains on the furniture, one of the shower curtain liners were covered in mold. This place was so bad that we had to pay to stay somewhere else the first night because they could not get someone there to clean it. I was so disappointed especially with how they handled the situation!

Could have been cleaner

The balcony was large and the condo was spacious with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. I would stay at this facility again but I will avoid staying through vacassa. The unit was just not clean. On arrival there were multiple hairwads on the floor. Hair in master bath sink. Syrupy, sticky, kitchen table. The mirrors still had lots of splatters. There was mildew on shower curtains and around drains and hot tub jets. My husband bought cleaning supplies when he made a food run, so I could give it a clean. Next day we found bath towels that wreaked of cigarette smoke, so we had to wash them before we felt comfortable using them. We questioned if they were clean. As the weekend went on, we found candy wrappers, partially used water bottle, and other items, behind cushions and around the condo. We were able to enjoy our trip. I do felt someone had come in and superficially and lightly wiped down some surfaces. However, the cleaning job was just not thorough and left me feeling a little weird throughout the weekend. The parking is crowded and the overflow lot not nearly sufficient. We had to pay $12 per day to park the 2nd car. The codes we were given did not work, but we were able to get correct codes for the pool from other guests, but not for the workout room. Overall, the location is good, the space for large groups was nice and the fact that each room had it's own bathroom was a plus. The elevators were fast with short waits even on a high floor.

Outdated, Poor Checking Processess

We had a horrible experience the second we drove up to this resort. There is no front desk area where you can unload your stuff, instead you are going straight into a garage and blocking other peoples designated parking's. The elevator did not work so we had to wait minimum 20 minutes to go up and go down. Huge waste of time. They were able to fix the elevator on our second day which made it much easier getting up and down. The condo itself definitely needs a little TLC, it has been worn down. The furniture outside is extremely dirty and stained. There were only 4 chairs for the outside table which were also in bad condition. The condo was not cleaned properly, the vents were filled with dust, bathroom had hair in tub and sink from other peoples stay and the whole condo smelled like Sewerage. Eventually you get used to it however it was strong. The kitchen definitely needs additional cooking and serving utensils, pots and pans. Parking was horrible, you are given one parking space at the building and overflow parking right across the street. The overflow parking was full our whole visit. In a place that fits 16 people were had no choice but to purchase public parking, which is located by the overflow parking for $80.00 a week. Cost we really did not anticipate but had to do it as we came with 3 cars. I had to spend 2 hours calling Vrbo as we were missing sheets for pull out coach, i had to use the ones from the king bed. Sheets were never brought over like promised.

The condo 2001 is beautiful, clean, and spacious!

October 8-15, 2022. Vacasa made check-in and check-out very simple. They answered our questions immediately and the customer service rep was impecable. We loved the decor, furnishings, spacious rooms and private bathrooms with plenty of towels, dish detergent, and laundry soap. We had great water pressure, and we used the oversized balcony every day. Things you should know...the parking situation is atrocious unless you drive a Mini Cooper or a Honda Fit. If you have a 2nd vehicle you will walk across the street, through a small alley, across another street to the overflow parking lot. We had great weather and the ones trecking to the additional lot were young and healthy so it wasn't a terrible thing. The pool is a bit small with a capacity for only 20 swimmers! Security will ask for your wrist bands so be sure you have them with you! I love sitting in chairs at the beach. This particular week we were there on fall break (along with several other families). Daily, two different groups set their tents up directly in front of the chairs. The attendant asked several times for them to move and not block the views (or move his signs). When several of us asked about the situation, he told us the Ocean Ritz HOA does not back him up. Apparently when this happens at other condo units, a member of the HOA asks the guests what condo they are in and tells them if they do not move, they will need to be evicted immediately. We looked to the right and to the left and literally NO OTHER chairs had blocked views outside the other condo buildings. One of the two elevators was broken all week long. We spoke with a couple of owners and they stated the elevator had been down off and on since the previous November! Overall, the CONDO was beautiful. Some things to know...the coffee maker uses PODS. There were only 2 coffee cups (for 14 capacity unit). There is no blender! The top rack of the dishwasher is missing a stopper so be careful to not pull the rack out too far otherwise it comes off the tracks. The beds were decent with nice pillows and blankets galore.
