The address gave us a little issue as the GPS kept taking us to an abandoned property next door. The address numbers were not properly visible. However, the host told us what the building looked liked. The bush by the front door needs to be trimmed as it blocked the front door. Inside you can tell its a new build out, we saw a couple of niks around the space. The bed blanket had a burn and a small rip, like someone set a hair straightener on it. The pillows and bed were hard, the couch was amazing but we found a black sock from previous guest. There were no cleaning supplies, broom, or trash bags. We didnt use the kitchen outside of the fridge, which worked perfectly. There was no hand soap and the hand towel felt crusty and the towels had little stains.The ac and wifi worked perfectly. Again the couch was perfect for my little family to snuggle up for a movie night. We had a great space enjoyed our stay.

Shady property owner! Beware!

We were invited on a very last minute trip to the river, and this was the only place available within a 15-mile radius so we jumped on it! We booked this property on Friday July 28 around 1:00pm. When my husband sent me the booking I immediately got nervous....anyone who doesn't use their last name in business dealings is a red flag to me. Unfortunately, my husband accidentally booked it for the wrong dates...he booked for Saturday & Sunday night instead of Friday & Saturday night! In his rush to find us a place to stay, he was just moving too fast. It happens, and yes it was our fault. We immediately realized our mistake and reached out to contact the host by phone. Our calls went completely unanswered. It rang for a while, then switched over to a weird kind of ring, then disconnected us completely. We tried a couple more times with no response, then reached out via messaging on the vrbo app. Still no response at all. We drove 3 hours to the river and went ahead and went to the property. It's a condo type building, and the people staying in the connecting house said that nobody had been staying at our property, so we peeked inside and sure enough it was totally empty and dark. We breathed a sigh of relief, figuring she would get back to us as soon as possible and we could shift the reservation by a night. She never responded, even though we tried multiple times to reach her via every channel we had at our disposal. She responded ONCE then ghosted us again. Booo
