Beautiful House with lake views close to village

Beautiful house overlooking Lough Derg in the picturesque village of Ballina (twinned with Killaloe on the other side of the bridge). Ideally situated to explore the lake and the mountains on the doorstep or as a base to to explore the south and west of Ireland. Only 40 minutes drive to Shannon airport / Bunratty Castle, an hour and a half to Galway or The Burren and 2 hours from Dublin.

We had a great time in Balina. Very convenient to the local amenities. The property was ideal for our family. Clean and tidy with very comfotable beds. Quiet neighbourhood with outstanding views of the river close by. Would book again thank you.

Terrific location even better view

I can not say enough good things about our stay. With the fantastic communication with our host amazing location just steps from town and to wake up and have breakfast looking out at the Shannon. This will definitely be where we stay when we are in town.

Lovely lake view

The view from the back deck is amazing. It was nice after a day out, to come back, have a glass of wine on the peaceful deck. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful getaway location

We had a very pleasant week’s stay at this beautiful getaway property. It’s conveniently located to explore the surrounding areas of the country but also to sit back and relax around Ballina/Killaloe with a stunning view of the Shannon river. The property is beautiful maintained and was clean on arrival. The pictures portray an accurate description of the property, which contains everything you need. The booking was simple and communication was always very easy and quick with the property owner, Barbara. She left us all the needed information for our stay in the house and was in regular contact with us throughout the week to make sure everything was running smoothly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!

Ideal Ireland

We stayed at this property with 4 adult family members. The pictures were all very accurate but the location was really even better than expected in person. If you want to stay in a smaller, country side town on the water it's hard to imagine you could beat staying here. The views were absolutely stunning. The house was very nice and everything was set up well. If there was anything at all that was less than perfect, everyone felt the shower was extremely small and the water pressure was extremely lacking just making showering a bit of nuisance but none of this would have stopped us from staying at this place still. Impossible to think anyone would be disappointed choosing to stay at the property. And Barbara was easy to communicate with and responded quickly everytime.
