The Sweetest Family Vacation Rental In New England

Hi there, glad you are checking out my listing, my name is Michael but friends call me Doc which is short for Dr. Chocolate. I have owned this property since 2009 and have been making improvements slowly over the years. I have hosted Play Retreats (those were really fun) and had visitors from all around the globe and now, for the very first time I am opening up my space to folks like you.
Camp Sweetness is much more expensive than other rentals in the area, my goal in creating this space is that you will have an extreme amount of fun and create memories with the people who are important to you that will last a lifetime. My hope is that in 20 years your family will still be telling stories of your time spent at Camp Sweetness.
This is my home and I ask you to treat it with kindness and respect, which is the way you will be treated by me or my staff.
I do keep space downstairs and run back and forth between here and CT. and try to greet all my guests in person whenever possible. I usually welcome them in the sweetest way I know, with chocolate!

I have traveled extensively, started 5 companies, performed on stage for crowds of over 10,00 people, and am an avid and engaging storyteller.

Camp Sweetness is ideally located, it is defiantly a rural getaway, yet within a 30-minute drive you have access to:

Slingshot Rentals (those are cool Batmobile looking 3 wheelers)

A yard to play in or bring some tents if folks want to sleep outdoors (reminder the 8-person maximum is for the property not just sleeping in the house)
Snowmobile trail access right from the driveway and space to park your trailers.

Kimball Lake is a 4-minute walk (2-minute bike ride) from Camp Sweetness.
It is perfect for kids and toddlers as it a shallow (30 ft out you are only knee deep.
It has 2 docks, the first is in the shallow area and the 2nd is about 60 ft out and is divable. The water is clear and gorgeous.
Speaking of water, the water from the well is DELICIOUS, in fact, it's the same aquifer that Poland Springs taps out of, so no need for bottled water!

You will notice that I have a 6-night minimum stay, this is for several reasons, first I don't want to work too hard and cleaning the place after you go is a lot of work. So more nights make for less cleaning for the Doc.

Also, I want this to be a place to build great memories and feel that people need a week (at minimum) to relax and recharge and get ready for what life throws them next.

Also, why the odd amount of $1,227? It's simple, 27 is my lucky number and you are lucky enough to come to stay here so we can all share in that luck!
