Awesome Getaway

What a wonderful place we chose to celebrate our Marine's 21st birthday! The neighborhood is quiet and the location is close to shopping. The beaches are approximately 35 minutes away. The owner thought of everything to accommodate guests. You will not be disappointed in your stay here. We will definitely revisit! Thank you, Amanda for your thoughtfulness.

Roaches and Rules

The property looked nice and the interior was colorful. There were two things that negatively impacted our stay. The first night as we settled in and began to fix dinner, we saw roaches. There was a large can of roach spray underneath the sink so we used it. Needless to say, tjat affected our appetite. We contacted the owner and she informed us that she didn't have a pest control contract and had not had a problem before. This was difficult to believe as we found the almost empty can of spray in the kitchen. She assured us she would contact pest control the following week and would treat the house's exterior. Each day we saw some roaches both crawling in the kitchen and back bathroom. After the roaches wete spotted, we began to check the beds and found spots on the sheets in one of the bedrooms. We washed the sheets and the spots came out which made us think the sheets weren't clean. Underneath the beds, we founds lots of dust. In the kitchen the venthood was very dusty and the cabints above the stove was not cleaned and had dead roaches. The home needs to be deeply cleaned. We paid a cleaning fee as part of the rental however, it was not very clean. Last, the home contained several postings related to what not to do in the home. There was a set of rules in the living room beside the sign in book which was understandable, however there were other signs posted in the home. This helped to make us feel unwelcome. I have not had that experience before.

Great place to stay!

The property was clean, comfortable, spacious and fun. Well organized, easy to get to and in a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by. A home away from home. Awesome place for family to get away.

Nice location + stay as-described!

We loved being able to walk to the coffee shop, brewery, and ice cream shop. Thoughtful amenities in the house, too. We'd do it again!

Great place to stay for the price

This house was amazing for 7 people to stay. Owner had a flare for the personal touches that most places don’t think about! There was a welcome sign and plenty of extra necessities throughout the home! Things we hadn’t even thought of! I figured with 3 adults and 4 children, we’d be cramped and on top of each other… it was exactly the opposite! There were a few hiccups that were rectified almost immediately. I wished we were closer to the beach but couldn’t complain with the location! We will most likely stay here again in the future!
