The gardens were beautiful, the pool was peaceful and inviting, the room was clean and well appointed. There was a parking rack for our bicycles. Honey Room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was wonderful--clean and well appointed. However, there is a lot of light that shines in from the hallway into the room. It would be nicer if that light were not so bright. As well, the lights on the balcony for the holidays are lovely, but, again, shine right into the room. I would have preferred not so much outside light into the room. And, the roosters begin crowing at about 2:45 each morning. I know that's part of the feel of the island, but they crow on and off for about 2 hours until about 4:30-5 a.m. Because it's a house, I know that's not to be avoided, but you should know that it happens, so bring a very loud sound machine.

Our Anniversary Getaway

We have stayed at the Scarlet Mango in now three times and each time we are so pleased with our stay! The boutique pool is so unique in that you feel like your home away from home. The rooms are bright and airy and so welcoming that I take advantage of laying in the big cozy bed longer than I should! We look forward to the amazing Halloween decor even though the place couldn’t be any prettier :) we look forward to this trip every year!!

Balcony was nice to drink morning coffee or have a night cap cocktail. Pool was our favorite place as we used it 3 times a days (morning, afternoon, evening). Great location close to Duvall. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was awesome! We cannot say enough good things about this beautiful, peaceful and comfortable rental! From the moment we booked this room, we were contacted to see if they (Dwell Key West) could help us with reservations for outings, restaurants, rentals and other services. Walking into Scarlett Mango was so inviting-clean and pleasantly decorated. Our room was just the same! The Welcome snacks were wonderful and the beds were so comfortable that we wanted to take them home-best sleep we have had in a very long time! The POOL-not only was the setting beautiful but the pool was kept at a very comfortable temperature. We have been to so many places that stated heated pool and it was not. This pool was and was situated that you got the sun for a good part of the day. The location of the home was perfect! It was so close to everything that we never needed to rent anything, we walked everywhere. We could go on and on about how much we enjoyed staying here. We will recommend this place to anyone who asks us where to stay and we will be back again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed Honey. It did not feel like a rental at all and was very comfortable and homey. The location is superb in that it was an easy walk anywhere we wanted to go but it was not noisy (except for roosters). We were able to park our rental car on the street a block away but didn’t move it the entire time. It was nice to have the porch to sit on in the mornings and in room refrigerator too. This will be my first choice when we come back!

Room was updated and had all amenities and modern comforts with retaining the charm and character of the house. Everything was within walking distance so we didn’t need a vehicle. Pool was a welcome amenity as it was quite hot and humid so we used it daily to cool off and relax. Porch was great to sit and people watch or read a good book. Check in and out was easy and convenient- would absolutely recommend and stay here again.
