You'll find a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, Miele hob & oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a dishwasher. On the balcony, an eight-seater table awaits you, providing an ideal spot to dine alfresco and savor the magnificent views. Additionally, a Weber braai (barbecue) is available for guests to use, allowing you to indulge in delicious grilled meals while enjoying the outdoor ambiance.
To ensure a comfortable and uninterrupted stay, the unit is equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). This means that even during load shedding, the WiFi, TV, DSTV, and essential lighting will remain functional, providing you with peace of mind.
Room configuration:
The main bedroom features a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. Sliding doors in the main bedroom lead out to the balcony, offering uninterrupted sea views and allowing you to wake up to the soothing sound of the ocean.
The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and offers views of the lagoon and a separate bathroom.
Towels and linen are provided, eliminating the need for you to bring your own.
The apartment complex also provides additional facilities for your enjoyment. These include a communal swimming pool where you can take a refreshing dip, a restaurant, 24-hour security to ensure your safety and peace of mind, a communal garden for you to relax and unwind and direct beach access, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay.
There are various visitor parking's that you can utilize during your stay with lift access to the apartment.
Important Information:
We provide guests with a starter pack to get them going on the first day of their arrival consisting of tea/coffee/sugar/milk/water, basic cleaning detergents and bathroom amenities. Please take note that we do not replenish these items for the duration of your stay.
We provide a sufficient number of prepaid units to cover your stay. However, excessive use of air conditioning or heating systems can deplete these units more quickly. Should the units run out, any additional usage will be at your own expense. Please note that electricity usage is capped at the average consumption rate for the apartment.
South Africa sometimes experiences an electricity shortage, so there might be periods when you will be without electricity. We call it load shedding and there is an app that you can download to check the schedule in your area so that you can plan around it.
Please note that, despite the presence of inverter systems, generators, and UPS systems in our apartments as well as the apartment buildings, Home Meets Hotel cannot be held liable in the event of any system failure due to prolonged load shedding.
We provide guests with a fitted sheet and duvet, which will be on the bed as well as a bath towel and hand towel for each guest.
To ensure your convenience, kindly remember to bring your personal login details for DSTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and any other applicable services, as not all apartments are equipped with login credentials. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Kindly note that this is a self-catering apartment and is therefore not serviced during your stay. Should you wish to arrange additional cleaning or linen changes, please liaise directly with your host. For stays longer than 7 nights, a complimentary weekly refresh and linen change is included. Please note that the cleaning fee included in your payment covers departure cleaning only.
The person who signs these terms is responsible for the behaviour of everyone using the rental property during the rental period. If anyone in your party or any guest or invitee behaves in an unacceptable manner by any civilised standard, the entire party may be required by us to vacate the property without further notice. It is not considered acceptable behavior to make excessive noise including playing music loudly and such behavior will not be tolerated, as this property is in a residential area.
It is your responsibility to pay for any losses or damages to the property or premises, however caused by your group (reasonable wear and tear excluded).
It is your responsibility to take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.
It is your responsibility not to part with any possession of the property, or to share it with anyone other than with the members named in this agreement.
No smoking is allowed in the apartment, failing to adhere to it, the group will be requested to leave the premises immediately and with no refund and we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit.
Alcohol consumption is not allowed in any communal areas.
Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and are urged to take all due care and attention during their stay. We do not accept any responsibility for any injuries on the property.
Only those persons confirmed may enter the property and under no circumstance may the total number of people sleeping on the property exceed the maximum number stipulated. We are entitled to request you and your party vacate the property if this rule is not complied with, with no refund and we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit.
We do not have international plugs/converters, therefore please remember to bring your own.
We do not get informed when neighbouring units are getting renovated, therefore if it happens during working hours, we are unable to prevent it.
We can only recommend and not dictate the furnishing, window coverings (whether too light or too dark), kitchen utensils, cooking ware, cutlery, etc of the unit, as this remains the personal choice of the owner.
In case of strong winds, we keep the outdoor furniture inside, however, you are welcome to use it outdoors.
Due to strong winds, there might sometimes be a bad odour in some of our apartments but it will disappear again, if not, please contact your Host. The wind can also sometimes cause a whistling sound in some of the apartments.
Some apartments are surrounded by restaurants and pubs, therefore take note that there might be noise.
If you are not sure about the square meters of your apartment, please ask your Host.
Please note that any in-person check-in after 7 pm will have an additional charge of R500.00.
We can arrange an airport shuttle at an additional cost.
Please report anything which is not to your satisfaction on the day of your arrival, so that we can address it to the best of our ability as it is our top priority to make your stay with us as pleasant and memorable as possible.

Home Meets Hotel, as well as the owner, do not accept liability for any loss and/or damage to any personal items and/or person for any reason whatsoever. Sufficient travel & medical insurance is therefore strongly advised.
