Year Round Cabin in Litchfield

Remodeled 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cabin in Litchfield, Maine located on the same road as Woodbury Pond boat launch, public beach, and hiking trail. Cobbossee Lake and Pleasant Pond are less than 15 minutes away. There are two golf courses, a brewery, and grocery store in town. Enjoy privacy with woods on all sides. There is ample parking, including a spot for a truck with a trailer. This cabin is suitable for children and pets.

The cabin offers an open living room/dining room with cathedral ceiling. The kitchen has all new appliances and is full stocked with dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. There is one bedroom and a half bath on the first floor. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. There are two bedrooms with king sized beds and a bedroom with bunk beds, full sized futon, and a chair that turns into a small bed.

This cabin is across the street from Woodbury Pond/Tacoma lakes. There is not access from the property to the lake but it is a 2 minute drive to the boat launch and public beach.

Fabulous stay!

Nice cottage in the woods

Beautiful Property

Dawn was great and the cabin/house was awesome. Clean, decorated beautifully, and with heat pumps in each bedroom, a huge hit for the 3 couples. Highly recommend!

Joys of Maine!

We had a blast staying at the cabin! It’s clean and cozy with plenty of space for our family of 3 plus pup. We enjoyed the pond close by for kayaking and hiking at Vaughn woods. There are so many great features to the property and our hosts were ever so accommodating! We’ll surely come back again!

Lovely house for my in-laws

I rented this house for my in-laws to stay at over my wedding weekend. It was a perfect location! The house had all the amenities and comfortable places for everyone to sleep, plus it's so close to the lake. Thanks, Dawn!!

Very welcoming cabin and host

We greatly appreciated the little things that made us feel more welcome like the fresh bags of ice in the freezer, the A/C being on full when we arrived during a very hot day and even the full-sized towels instead of the small generic ones we've dealt with in other places. The cabin worked out very well for our needs and we would welcome the opportunity to come visit again in the future.

Great Vacation Cabin

We received a detailed and thorough tour of the cabin by the owner who was very nice and friendly. The remodeled cabin was simply and beautifully decorated. The kitchen appliances, devices and amenities were new and upscale. The linens were very nice. The cabin was very well equipped. We had a great stay.

Great stay

The property was well appointed and clean. 5 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 dogs fit easily. It was easy to get to and the area was quiet (the floor was a little creaky tho). The nearby lake was a pleasant view on a short walk. Dawn was a responsive and accommodating host.

Good Family Rental

This was our second time renting this great little house. This time it was with extended family and the 4 kids love the bunk room. It a great space for two families to share or a group of friends. Since it was summer this time we got to enjoy the back deck and sitting outside. We will rent again next time we are up visiting family in the area.

Wonderful Cabin

We loved our stay at this Litchfield cabin. The home is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the character, a mix of old and new. A/C worked great, modern kitchen and baths and a very comfortable king size bed. Good Wi-Fi and a nice TV with cable in the living room. Perfect location to explore the beautiful Tacoma Lakes. I highly recommend this comfortable and clean cabin.

Great place

Overall we really enjoyed Our stay. We have a large family and the house fit us well. The only warning I would give to prospective guest is that the home is kinda loud. You will hear anyone who moves in the home, so if you have light sleepers or young children just keep it in mind. Even trying to be quiet, you could still hear people moving about. We would definitely stay again, especially if it was just adults or older kids.

Quite space, great for families!

We stayed here to visit family in the area and this place was perfect. Extremely well thought out design and had everything we could want for our stay. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are VERY comfortable. They are serious when they say it can sleep 8, we are a family of 4 but it would have been easy to have another family of 4 stay there as well. Our kids loved the “bunk room” as they called it, that has four speared beds, two bunk beds, a futon and a fold down chair bed. The rooms with bigger beds were extremely comfortable as well, one was upstairs with the “bunkroom” and a full bath, and one was downstairs with and extra-large bed and lots of closet space. The living room, dining area and kitchen were all perfect for hanging out and cooking as a family. The table easily can sit 8 and probably fit 10 if you pull the extra chairs up from around the living room. The half bath on the first floor was a very nice touch. Because of the weather we were not able to enjoy the outside spaces but the back deck with a grill and picnic table by the fire pit looked like lovely spots to hang out in the summer. We will be booking again when we come back for a summer visit, and maybe we will invite some cousins to come with us!

Fantastic location and experience!

Our family stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. Plenty of room for a family of 7 with a nice full kitchen. Very clean, updated, and the owners decorated nicely for Autumn. We wouldn't hesitate to rent here again!
