A trip where things continuously went wrong...
Due to construction, multiple roads were shut down around the hotel/condos. This caused difficultly arriving at the location. I was dropped off three streets away and walked through the construction sites. Knowing that this was a problem, I worked with the kind front desk attendants and after three attempts at grocery delivery (I didn't rent a car), I walked back through construction to pick up an Uber and purchase groceries. At this point it was 36 hours since my last meal. Unfortunately food was closed on site until further notice even though the photos online (not VRBO) show otherwise. The following day the air stopped working and without a window to open the room began getting warm with daily temperatures in the 90s and no airflow. After reaching out to the owner, he stated that the fan should be on within the air conditioning unit, however it was not until 14 hours later that the thermostat read the fan was on. No breeze was present within the room. From neighbors knocking and then pounding on the door at 2 am until 3 am one evening, to police coming into the lobby at 10 pm another night looking for a guy who ditched a stolen car in the parking lot, each day was met with barriers.
