One of the showers did not work. It was a handicapped accessible tub/shower combo. Water comes out of the faucet, but not showerhead. Neither bathroom had GFCI plugs, and so the plugs did not work. We were unable to use a blow dryer, electric razor, or curling iron in the bathrooms. We were informed that the freezer didn't work the day before we arrived. I explained that it was less than optimal to not have ice for drinks or any frozen foods we planned on using. I tried asking if there were going to be repairs done over the weekend, and at that point, the owner stopped communicating with me. Also, there is overly expired food in the cabinets. There was open packages of food that are expired x 4 years. I don't know where the owner lives or how often he is there. But, his housekeepers should clear out expired food. We did not get rid of anything, since it wasn't ours. Overall, the house could use a little TLC, as it is an older house and things could use an update and minor repairs. Also, it would be nice to have an alarm clock in the bedrooms. I will say the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated. The washer and dryer are newer models and worked great. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and in a central location to get to anything you want to see. The family room/TV are good, as is the dining room table. Check in was easy and we got the lock code the day before.
