We received a notice that check-in would be delayed an hour approximately 1 hour prior to check in causing us to change plans to accommodate “nowhere to go.” Accommodation was clean and well appointed; however, the location should mention that the house is on a corner next to a busy road in a somewhat sketchy area where police sirens and loud bass yielding cars pass all night.

This place was Perfect!! Super clean, AC worked phenomenally. The layout works very well. The host was very kind and expeditious in her communications with us. I will definitely be staying again on my trip out to Cayce next year. Super close to airport and downtown, Kitchen was stocked with everything one could need on vacation for multiple days or weeks. Check-out was super smooth and simple, not like the horror stories you hear online with all the cleaning fees and the laundry list of things to do before you check out! Only thing i could see bothering some people is the riff raff that likes to fly down the road with their loud exhaust at all hours of the night, it didn't bother us though as we all sleep like rocks.

what a lovely home :) i was obsessed with the tall ceilings, spacious living area, double doors in the master bath, and whatever faucet they have in the kitchen.. i need it! i very much enjoyed my month long stay. the neighborhood was quiet and in a central location, which i appreciated. the owner was fantastic! gave me grace when a snow storm came through on checkout day and travel was difficult. overall, 10/10. highly recommend

Weekend in Cayce

This was the perfect spot for the 6 adults who came to town to support the PhiMu Philanthropy event held at Steel Hands Brewery. Location to USC and surrounding areas was perfect and allowed us to stay away from game day traffic! Deja Blue has everything we needed.

The house was clean and neat, inside and outside. However, the photos and description did not accurately portray the neighborhood. We never felt unsafe or concerned, but the neighborhood was not as "nice" as implied. I would stay there again, but with different expectations. Things that would make this property and experience better: 1) Really need to repair/replace the exhaust fan in the hall bathroom. It will soon destroy itself. 2) Door knob in master-bathroom is slipping and extremely difficult to operate. My 90yr old dad got stuck in the bathroom until we finally heard him calling for help. 3) Add a Keurig! We brought pods with us, because we thought that the photos showed a Keurig. We made it work with the drip machine, but would much prefer a Keurig. 4) Please make it plain that there are no condiments in the kitchen pantry. Only salt and pepper were provided. All of the other VRBOs and ABNBs that I have stayed in had a modest supply of spices and oil (EVOO please!!) for cooking. We had to purchase all of these to do our cooking. 5) Check in was OK, but check out was a bit confusing. I followed the texted link to the checkout instructions, the night before to be sure we prepped for departure, but NOT check-out. Next morning link was dead, so I couldn't double-check instructions, nor officially "checkout". Couldn't contact Host. Overall, stay was good. We would stay again, but would would like to see the above items addressed. Many Thanks and God Bless!!

We were in town for my son's graduation from Ft. Jackson. We had no clue about the Columbia/Cayce area. Exterior of the house is cute, updated. It is on a corner lot of a very busy street with a liquor store across the street. Houses across the street look a little run down although their properties including the one next door are the nicest on the block. Check-in was smooth. Property was listed to accomodate up to 8. There was only 3 forks, 4 coffee cups, some random glassware, not enough dishes, no extra towels (literally 1 per person), no blankets (told by property owner, the sheets and coverlet were the blankets, no extra pillows, no basic cleaning supplies to clean the counter or dining table. They did doordash a set of flatware for 4 people.Beds were comfortable.Property needs a overhaul on inventory. We were scheduled to check out on Saturday morning. On Friday afternoon, my husband and I were in the Master bedroom packing our things, when we heard a loud aggressive knock on the front door, before we could even get out of the bedroom, a young man was standing in the doorway. He had the code and let himself in. To say this was frightening is an understatement. Long story short, it was one of their maintenance workers. The worker came back to the property after we said to leave. He wouldn't leave. Owner called. We immediately checked out and stayed at a hotel. Owner refunded our and apologized. I was shaken up. Never experienced that w/any VRBO before.

Loved staying here. So much space and just beautiful. Beds were comfy, water pressure was amazing, and lots of little touches like coffee and toiletries.
