We were totally satisfied with the cabin and the accommodations. It was described very accurately on the VRBO listing. The only thing that was a little bit of an issue was the parking. The road leading up to the cabin was very narrow and very steep. Nothing impossible to navigate but a little hairy at times. Other than that I would highly recommend this property if you’re going to be in the area. Only a couple miles from the strip. Jen did an awesome job of communicating with us all the way through. Highly recommend.

The hot tub was the best at any rental we've had. The cabin is perfect and very homey. Everything was provided for our dog. It was so thoughtful!

Home was as advertised. It was perfect for our family of 3 and one pet. Very cozy and clean. Host was very responsive and acted fast on the one item we reached out to her about upon arrival. Check in was smooth. Very convenient to local attractions. We will definitely consider this home in the future.

The hot tub was dumped, cleaned and refilled prior to your arrival as it is between each guest but well water can sometimes have a bit of a cloudiness to it. Jen is the most helpful host and the cabin is secluded enough that you have privacy but still only a short drive to everything! Can’t wait to come back here!!

Great honeymoon

We loved our stay at Winedown. We were on our honeymoon and love everything about the property and how close it was to the main strip but still felt like you were miles away.

We were there the end of June 2026 to attend a family wedding. Advertised as newly renovated. We needed do a 2 hour clean, cob webs, some bugs present, windows were filthy. We all needed the iron as advertised was present, it was but, the steam/water hole was full of napkins, felt it was unsafe and bought one in town...We left the one we bought there for someone else to use. Location was good, Jen the Host communicated very well. Outside fireplace was pretty awesome, wished it was cooler. We are VRBO friendly people, have an account and we are not chronic complainers. The bed mattresses need to be changed, there is indentations on both from extended use. Also listed as pet friendly, we have an older lab mix, had no outside area to walk her, only the steep incline driveway. We will be back to stay in the area, but will probably pass on that cabin.

Loved Wine Down Cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin in the Smokey Mountains!! It was a lovely and clean cabin and perfectly located close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. The host was wonderful and had great communication throughout our entire booking process and stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Quick little getaway

Great stay. Convenient to town and not too far away from Cades Cove. Owner was great to work with. Very accommodating!!! Refreshing owner experience!!!!
