Perfect accommodations in the Boro

My husband and I enjoyed staying at The Post loft. It is well appointed, comfortable and a great location for everything Statesboro.

Great stay.

This is our 3rd time staying at this unit. Convenient location, great parking and roomy interior spaces. The unit could use a couple additional lamps and the upstairs bedroom would benefit from blackout curtains.

The location, the ease of check in and check out were great. The communication with the property manager was excellent. My issue is with the property itself. The building itself was not very secure. There was a staircase that lead out and down to the street. They had doors that were supposed to be locked after you come and go but they were left opened every time we came and went. The door coming into the apartment felt flimsy at best. A soft kick and the door would swing open. Didn’t feel secure and or safe. The entire loft felt damp. The common areas of the loft were cute but the issues came with the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms had one small bedside lamp and it was extremely dark. We had to use our phone flash lights at night to get ready for bed. No overhead lights or floor lamps to help illuminate the space. The bathrooms had mold on the ceiling…especially the upstairs bathrooms. That was extremely upsetting and disappointing. The main bathroom..the tub would not drain while taking a shower. We stood in 3 inches of water while showering. That was awful. The upstairs bedroom had a big window that overlooked the apartment building common area and that was not covered. Our daughter was completely exposed. We could see where previous guests had tacked up a blanket to cover the window so it would provide some privacy. Overall we were extremely disappointed in the space for the price we paid. I would not recommend this space to anyone.

Parents weekend

We stayed with another couple to visit our boys Parents weekend. Great Location and nice open living space where the boys could stop by to visit with us when we had down time.

Easy process and nice location

Super communication and ease of check-in. Clean property. For 2nd bedroom & bath the slanted roof makes it a bit difficult for an adult. Comfortable place and would return again.

College Parents weekend

we had 2 couples stay at the apartment to visit our sons for Parents weekend. It was very convenient and had a large den area. There was room for the boys to stop by and hang out with us so we could have a real visit instead of sitting around their dorm room. The property had everything we needs. The building was really cool and we loved the balcony.

very awkward space

The downstairs toilet did not flush. There were spiders upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has very little headroom in the bathroom. The air conditioning thermostat was downstairs. In order to have it cool enough upstairs, it was freezing downstairs. It was very hot and humid upstairs when downstairs was like a refrigerator. We really expected a nice place for the price we paid. Most hotels are much cleaner and much more functional compared to this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice, clean, relaxing stay.

Host Cancelled last minute

We were in town for an event and just a couple of hours prior to check-in received a call from the host stating that there was a leak from the above unit and they cancelled our reservation. There was a convention in town and it was extremely difficult to find another place to stay and we had to pay double. When I asked about a refund she was not forthcoming in stating that the refund had been or would be issued and now I must follow up with my credit card company to be sure it is properly issued. I understand things happen but when I asked about the refund a clear and concise assurance was in order.
