Our cabin "The Explorer" is a three-story cabin nestled cozily in the woods of the Smoky Mountains. It is located in the Mountain Shadows Resort close to Gatlinburg downtown, privately located within a quiet resort community. Our cabin, The Explorer is within 3 miles from Gatlinburg downtown and 10 mi from Pigeon Forge.

7. High Speed Fiber optic cable internet (not the cell phone powered internet available in mountains)
8. Natural gas pipeline for the outdoor grill (no need of propane cylinder)
With a large deck, it is the perfect place to relax and soak in the sights and sounds of the Smoky Mountains.
Well maintained by our resort/HOA in the winter so you should be able to access the cabin.
This cabin's interior feels cozy and inviting – a place where you can kick your feet up and relax in front of the fireplace after a long day of activities in the Smokies. Furnished with arcade games, a 6 seater theater room, and a pool table, this is the perfect place to wind down after a day of activities in the mountains.
When you're ready to finally hit the hay, the cabin's three bedrooms are beautifully decorated to create a soothing atmosphere and stocked with luxurious amenities to complement your stay.
