Seneca Falls is a little town with some big connections. For one, it is widely believed to be the inspiration for Frank Capra's holiday classic, "It's A Wonderful Life," from his visits to the town in the early 1900s. Seneca Falls is also proud to be part of the New York State Canal System, showcasing a beautiful waterfront with docking facilities and amenities for boaters traveling through the Cayuga-Seneca Canal.

Located on the northern shore of Cayuga Lake, Seneca Falls is known as the Historic Gateway to the Finger Lakes and is a great location from which to visit the more than 70 wineries located in the Finger Lakes Region. Or if you're trying to hedge your luck, Del Lago Casino and Resort is right up the road. From poker to spas, Del Lago has everything you're looking for.

A testament to the women’s suffrage movement in the United States, Seneca Falls is where more than 300 women and men gathered for the nation's first women's rights convention in 1848. Visit the home of women’s rights leader, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and also tour the Women's Rights National Historical Park and the National Women's Hall of Fame.

Guests will have full access to the Main building of the property, including the yard and beautiful lake. Please note that there are some locked closets and a locked door that leads to the in law suite where a traveling nurse stays. Guests are not permitted to use these areas. You are welcome to use the grill and propane tank supplied, but we do not guarantee the propane. If it is empty, the closest place to refill it is the Circle K at 193 Falls St, Seneca Falls.

Free parking is available in the driveway for multiple vehicles. There is a fire extinguisher under each kitchen sink and a first aid kit under the sink in the main kitchen.

Your whole group will have plenty of space to comfortably spread out and get a great night’s sleep across the home’s seven spacious bedrooms. With two bedrooms on the lower floor and an additional five bedrooms upstairs, there are plenty of beds to choose from!

Each bedroom is equipped with similar amenities, including luxurious bedding, ample closet space, and ceiling fans. Some rooms include extras like ensuite bathrooms and Smart TVs.

The lake house boasts four full bathrooms plus an additional half bath, so you’ll never spend too long waiting your turn. The full bathrooms boast luxurious walk-in showers, and there are two located on each level in addition to the half bath on the lower floor. You’ll find clean towels in each bathroom for your convenience.

You can choose between eating together or splitting up into smaller groups for meals. There are two full kitchens around the house - one on the lower floor and one on the top floor.

The primary kitchen is on the main level, and this is the best-stocked kitchen in the house. Enjoy modern stainless steel appliances, a deep farmhouse sink, and plenty of counter space for prepping and serving food. The main kitchen also has a Keurig coffee machine stocked with K-cups, creamer, and sugar for your morning cup of Joe.

The upstairs kitchen is smaller, but still has everything you’ll need, including modern appliances and a coffee maker. Each kitchen has its own dining area, and the upstairs kitchen even has its own bar!

After a day of playing on the lake, visiting vineyards, or exploring Seneca Falls, the lounges are the perfect spot to kick back and relax. There are two separate living room areas, each with its own cozy seating area and Smart TV. Whether you can’t agree on what to watch or simply need some alone time, you’ll appreciate having these three separate spaces. one of the living rooms are situated on the lower level, and the third sits upstairs.

The best part about being close to the water is having direct access to the lake. From the yard, you can follow the path down to the lake and go for a swim or use one of the water toys from our collection.

For those who don’t feel like getting wet, there is also a relaxing lounge area in the yard, complete with a fire pit, a grill, and an outdoor dining table.

PLEASE READ - There will be a traveling nurse staying in the garage apartment, which is attached to the house. There are separate entrances and separate driveways for both spaces, so it should not impact your stay. If you have any questions regarding the matter, please ask!

There are two driveways for this home. The driveway to the right (when facing the house from Cayuga St) is for parking for the traveling nurse who occupies the in-law suite. The driveway to the left is for short-term rental guests who will be staying in the main house. As a short-term rental guest, you should be parking in the driveway to the left.

The entrance for the short-term rental is the front door and has a silver keypad lock that says "Schlage" on top.

Any check-outs after 11 AM will be charged at half the rate of the next night. Our cleaners adhere to a strict schedule to ensure the prompt turnover of the property for the next guest's arrival.
Surveillance Cameras: Cameras are installed only in the entryway and driveway areas for security purposes. There are no cameras installed in the interior of the home, ensuring complete privacy for our guests.
