Perfect Location

In the heart of Kailua a lovely comfortable cottage conveniently located steps from the beach. We’ve stayed twice and love it. Herman is an outstanding host.

Basically had everything we needed, would stay again. Beach was awesome and super close. clean beach! Great starting point for a Hawaii vacation.

Great Location!

We enjoyed four nights at this property and the location was fantastic. Short walking distance to Kailua beach, enjoyed sunrise walks every morning!

Hidden Kailua Gem

Our stay was great! Private beach access, close to downtown shops and dining and neighborhood is quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Herman is a wonderful host.

Fabulous location, Gorgeous beach!!!

Great place to stay, close to beach. Nice outside area, Beautiful plants everywhere, loved hearing the birds. We definitely would stay again and recommend to others. Easy check in & out. Herman was very nice as well. No BBQ was a bit of a bummer.

What a great find. Stayed 8 nights. So convenient to everything. Our host was really a great guy. Great communication. The place was perfect for our group of two couples. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again if ever we return to Hawaii. Loved it!! Thank you Herman!

Perfect location

Venue was very clean and ideally located. Private access to beautiful white sand beach. Close to restaurants, groceries, and gas station. Convenient access to highways to rest of Oahu.

Private Beach Access

The owner was very accommodating when needing another chair and answered quickly when we had questions. The beach access was amazing and we were even able to play pickle ball not even 2 miles away. Very enjoyable vacation.

Nice location

Great location close to a local beach and a short drive to the main city beach. Herman is a great host. Our casita was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Only slight problem was the heat and humidity, which the lone air conditioner struggled with. As Californians we are not used to humidity!

Location, location, location!

This property is just steps from one of the most beautiful swimming and walking beaches on Oahu. Private, quiet, but close to stores and shopping. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I started every morning with a swim and a beach walk, and I usually had the beach mostly to myself.

We didn’t know Hawaii at all but wanted ti be off the beaten path a bit. It was not super touristy but all the amenities were 10 mins away. We took a chance on this area and it was perfect. Highly recommend. Host was great, very accommodating

Excellent

Really nice property. Gated beach access roughly two minute walk. Host a pleasure to work with. Plenty of dining options in town. Drive to Pearl Harbor, Hono or airport around 20 minutes via H2 and never saw traffic backed up. Will definitely try booking this property again for my next visit.

Great Location

We were very happy with the property. We were staying in the area to spend time with family who live there. So only used the property for sleeping really. However the property is very comfortable and is in a great location. The beach access was priceless. We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach as a family before the days got started.

Absolutely Awesome!

This is our 3rd time staying in this lovely home! We enjoy each time more than the last. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and it felt like we lived there the 9 days we stayed. Its close proximity to the beach is the BEST! Everything is within driving distance that you would need or want. We can't thank Herman enough for allowing us time in his home.

Great location

The booking process and check in was very smooth. The owner met us upon arrival even though our flight was delayed and we arrived later than expected. He wanted to greet us and show us the private beach access. The home was clean, tidy and provided just enough space for our family of four. The location can’t be beat - beautiful Kailua Beach is just steps away and shopping/dining are within a short drive. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would consider staying here again. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot

This was our 3rd trip to the island and we just wanted R&R since we had done all the tourist activities in the past. This was a perfect spot away from the business of Waikiki. 5 minute walk to the beach, but be careful of the man of war jellyfish that wash up on the sand. Lovely neighborhood with shops and hole in the wall places to eat. Having the convenience of a kitchen was a plus and we only ate out 4 times. Very easy check in and out and the small backyard was very serene to have coffee outside in the morning. Bring to go coffee cups if you want to take coffee on a morning walk along the beach as the kitchen did lack those. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice

Very nice place. Quiet. Perfect size for my husband and I and my brother and sister in law. The cottage is on a dead end road so the place is very quiet. The walk to the beach is about 2 mins away. Beautiful beach. We walked the beach in the mornings and there were lots of man of war washed up so we didn’t swim there but it’s a very nice quiet private beach with very few people If we had more time it would have been a perfect place for a relaxing beach day. Herman was very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
