Beach and Pool time! Family- Friendly, Short Walk to Beach and Entertainment

Welcome to our newly remodeled Marineros Beach House! Come spend time and make memories with your loved ones. Our property location is perfect. It is within walking distance from the beach, a Super Market, souvenir shops, and island entertainment.

Top Half of Home
Top half has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, comfortable living room, full kitchen & dining area, and front & back covered balconies.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and a master bathroom. This master bedroom has a comfortable sofa chair to relax as you look out the back balcony. It has French doors that lead out to this back balcony. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a walk-in closet. The kids' bedroom has a twin bed and a bunkbed. The living area is very spacious to entertain family. The kitchen is fully equipped with basic amenities and is next to the dining area which has French doors leading to the back balcony. In this spacious and long back balcony, the family has access to the pool and grill area downstairs using the outside spiral staircase which leads to the bottom. The upstairs has a washer and dryer too.

Bottom Half of Home
Bottom half has two bedrooms, a bonus room to the master, two bathrooms, comfortable living room, and a full kitchen & dining area. This lower level has easy access to the backyard swimming pool and charcoal grill.
The remodeled master has a queen bed, new bathroom and a bonus room with a futon. It is a perfect quiet space to retreat and relax. This room leads out the swimming pool and patio area. The new guests’ bedroom is large with two queen beds and lounging space. It has its own dedicated A/C unit for independent climate control. The living room is comfortable to enjoy watching T.V. and playing games. The kitchen is fully equipped with its basic amenities. The dining area looks out to back covered patio. It too has French doors leading out to the backyard. The backyard has a swimming pool, charcoal grill with an outdoor sink for outdoor cooking or fish cleaning station for those who enjoy fishing. Just like the top it has a utility room with a washer and dryer. Our home has sufficient parking in the front. Our home has outdoor staircases to access the top and the bottom from the front or the back of the house.

*Base rate is up to eight guests. Additional guest will be charged a nightly rate per guest. The house has a 12-guest maximum occupancy. *No stairs inside between the two floors. A short-term agreement needs to be completed as soon as you book.

MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD TO BOOK.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, had all the amenities we needed, and a few blocks from the beach. The beach entry was very accessible for our wagons and little kiddos. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable, and the pool was just the right size for hanging out after the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

Great Stay

The property was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The house was spacious and fit our group comfortably. The host was very welcoming and we had no issues during our stay.

Juarez annual vacation

It was a very nice property with great location. If we needed something from the store it was walking distance ,but almost everything was walking distance from there. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting SPI.I appreciate the host they are good people.

Spring Break 2023

This house was clean and plenty of room for 12 people. We had 2 families and it was perfect to have 2 separate units. Also great walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

Excellent!!

This is the best location on the beach! Everything we needed was nearby. The house was immaculate with plenty of beach towels! The beach was within walking distance. We will definitely return!

Annual Family Getaway

We visit South Padre every year and this was one of the best places we have stayed. The house was spacious, clean, and in a great location. The only downside was that the pool was more like a hot tub with the TX heat so the adults did not swim. We would definitely rebook earlier in the summer. Great spot!!

What a great place

We traveled to SPI for the 2nd annual Boys/Dads retreat for my son's small group. The location of the property is Ideal and place was just completely remodeled. I highly recommend the beach house and the host. Both were excellent. Location, Location, Location,.

Great weekend beach getaway house

Very short walk to the beach. Beach was very clean. Nice set up for my adult children and family. Separate upstairs and down stairs accommodations. The house was clean with the majority of all necessities available. Grocery store is down the block and very convenient. Great location.

We had a great time! The house was roomy and very comfortable and clean. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, a 2 minute walk to the grocery store and also within walking distance of icecream and restaurants. We had a 3 year old so a lock on the top gate that provides access to steps going down to the pool would have been appreciated. It was our only worry.

Clean, Great Layout, Close to the Beach, Close to the Grocery Store, Perfect for Families

We enjoyed our time at the Marineros Family Beach House. The location was great, a quick walk to the Blue Marlin grocery store and a short walk to the beach as well. We had two families staying at the beach house a total of 5 adults and 5 kids and everyone was comfortable and had their own space to rest and relax. It was clean, organized, and you could tell a lot of care was put in to making sure you quickly felt at home. The hosts were responsive and answered all our questions. Great bathrooms with plenty of space in the both kitchens. If you are looking for a location to keep family close, but also not feel crammed together your search can stop here. Book and stay at the Marineros Family Beach House and make lasting memories.

Perfect Location

Location is key at this property! Steps to the grocery and a block from beach access was all our families needed. Units were clean and the beds were comfy. Plenty of room for our party of 12. The Communication and flexibility with the owners was great. We had a lovely visit and hope to visit again. Just a few things to note: only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. No dishwasher or laundry detergent, no hair dryers, and no condiments in the kitchens (salt, pepper, oil, etc.). This wasn’t a deal breaker, but we would have come a bit more prepared if we had known ahead of time.

Good SPI Location and Lots of Room to Relax

This property was in a nice location convenient to: grocery, restaurants, conveniences, coffee/tea shop and beach, which was a short walk to our beach access. We like having the two-apartment arrangement with each bathroom arranged for convenient use by each bedroom occupant. We used the lower dining and living area as our central gathering, and it was very accommodating. There was a short supply of large dishes, but we managed by using the medium sized ones in a mix and match arrangement. And for me these beds were the most comfortable I have had in the last few placed we have stayed during travel. The listing should be clearer about the access to the upper apartment, it was not a problem for us, but all access does require outdoor traversing, even in rain, which we had, and made us note this fact. It is a very good beach accommodation for family and organized groups on holiday.

We had a great time at the property until a few days after check out. We were told we damaged the property which we didnt. The towels we were accused of ruining, we never saw. The closet we "broke" into was fine when we left. We talked to the property manager upon leaving and none of this was mentioned. They have "pictures" so we can't argue. Take pictures when you leave so this doesnt happen to you! Also, you may need extra pillows and towels. Towels are not the best quality. Two very small pillows per bed.

Nice get a way!!

All in all, it was a great experience from the search, to rental, agreement, check in, stay, and check out. The house was pleasant, clean, located near market, quick access to the beach and other local food spots that were fantastic. The house itself was very nice, but could use a few checks on the safety of tentamos who stay there. The front balcony had two loose balusters, that could be problematic and dangerous any tenant, especially young kids. A lock on the side gates And back gate would be a good measure to allow for items left outdoors to be secured. Also the back gate to another property allows for anyone to walk between the properties, not a welcomed feature when you have unruly back neighbors. Lastly a small portion of cleaning supplies would be good to keep in hand for tenenats so they can aid in keeping the property clean during their stay. We like ensure we leave the property as clean or cleaner than we found it. The house is wonderful and outside of the small more personal preferences and suggestions, we would definitely recommend the house for anyone to enjoy. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy your vacation. We would definitely rent here again.
