Aspen Hills Retreat erbjuder 4 sovrum, bäddar för 8 med 3 dubbelsängar och 1 uppsättning våningssängar. Vi erbjuder också en drottning och 4 dubbla luftmadrasser, plus utrymme för sovsäckar på golvet.

1500 kvadratmeter / däck är det perfekta stället att koppla av och njuta av naturen. Ljuden och naturen i bergen, och andas in den friska, rena luften är gåvor för våra gäster. Tusentals blinkande stjärnor ses i himlen på natten. Förhoppningsvis får du uppleva en av våra sommarregnregn och en vacker regnbåge som kommer först efter regnet.

Den stora gräsmattan erbjuder gott om utrymme för camping i tält, campare och husvagnar (inga anslutningar). Den stora Quonset-stugan bakom Retreat har ett cementgolv, ljus och elektricitet för nattmåltider / möten, bord och stolar ... ett perfekt ställe att mata en grupp, i skuggan och i dåligt väder.

Denna avskilda egendom kan rymma stora grupper för återföreningar, bröllop och andra stora sammankomster.

En kort vandring upp till reträtten ger dig en dramatisk utsikt över landskapet där den berömda Snake River vindar genom Swan Valley.

Denna bekväma fastighet ligger strategiskt i en triangel för en hemmabas. Bara en timmes bilfärd österut till Jackson Hole, Wyoming, sedan norrut till 2 Grand Teton National Park. Eller så kan du åka västerut, sedan norrut genom Island Park som gränsar till Yellowstone National Park med den västra ingången vid West Yellowstone. Nära till underbart fiske i Swan Valley.

En naturskön vandringsled är Cress Creek Nature Trail, cirka 15 minuter från reträtten. Det är i ett område som har ett favoritbadområde - Heise Hot Springs byggs av en naturlig varma källor, och har 3 olika pooler, var och en med olika temperaturer, och en 350 fot glidbana i den svala poolen. Ett nytt äventyr är att korsa berget vid Heise på 10 zip-linjer ... nu tillgängligt för de mycket äventyrliga som gillar att få en fågelperspektiv över området!

En golfbana, plus en rolig minigolfbana är på 7N ranch, gränsar till Heise Hot Springs.

Trailriding, catering till alla färdighetsnivåer, är en annan aktivitet bara en mil längre ner från vägen från Retreat, på Granite Creek Ranch. De flesta spår är på bergen, så landskapet är fantastiskt! För dig som vill se utsikten, men inte rida på häst, är ett nytt tillägg en 6-personers UTV-tur, som kör på ranch / jeep-spår. Både trailrides och UTV-åk måste planeras och guidas.

A Fisherman's Dream ... Blått band Cutthroat öring Fluefiske på Snake River är bara 3 miles till Conant Boat Dock och i olika områden genom Swan Valley. Fiske, båtliv och vattenskidor finns på antingen Palisades eller Ririe Reservoirs, båda cirka 20 minuter bort. Båtar och släpvagnar kan parkeras vid Aspen Hills ... gott om plats.

Spår för fyrhjulingar eller snömaskiner ligger inom några minuter från Aspen Hills Property, på allmän mark. Personliga båtar och släpvagnar med maskiner kan också parkeras vid Aspen Hills.

Yellowstone Park kan nås genom att köra norrut på Hwy 20 genom Island Park med dess vackra platser, och in i västra ingången, West Yellowstone (2 timmar norrut). West Yellowstone är full av turistskatter. Eller genom att köra genom Jackson Hole, Wyoming, sedan in i Grand Teton National Park och den södra ingången till Yellowstone Park, på Hwy 187, norr om Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jackson Hole är en vacker 1 timmes bilresa i öster från Retreat. En ny supersidotur - Yellowstone-Grand Teton Loop på 262 miles, korsar in i alla tre stater som gränsar till Yellowstone Park ... en fantastisk naturskön körning!

En stor Quonset-koja sitter vid Aspen Hills Retreat. Den har kraft och ljus, bord och stolar. Perfekt för släktträffar och större grupper. Vi har till och med varit värd för bröllop vid treelinjen och bröllopsmiddagar i Quonset ... perfekt för utomhusentusiaster och de som tycker om lugnet, lugnet och skönheten i naturen.

Panoramic peaceful getaway

The location was why we booked this property. Close to fun rock climbing, swimming, water skiing and hiking options. But, wow, the panoramic views, privacy, and peacefulness is what will bring us back. That and the safety for the grandchildren. This was the perfect set up for our crew to relax and enjoy each other. Thank you.

Excellent Retreat!

The location was beautiful. We loved the spectacular sunsets from the large deck! Plenty of parking for extra vehicles/boats. Close to reservoir and river for boating and fishing. Peter was a great communicator and host! Spacious yard made for great time throwing the frisbee!

Mixed review

Beautiful and private setting. However, description says “AC” which is not whole house AC...only 1 window AC in bedroom. It took owner 4 days to respond to my problem with getting DVD to work...finally figured it out. Worst problem was that owner failed to warn us that the road from the highway to the house (approximately 1 mile long gravel road) was a nightmare...deeply rutted, slippery as snot when wet and impassable under these conditions. We arrived on a Saturday and had rain off and on for the next 4 days...we were marooned in the house for 6 days because we were not alerted to this situation beforehand by the owner and had not rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle....we were only able to get out a couple of days when our river guide picked us up in his 4 wheel truck.

Annual Family Vacation

The family had a great time playing some of the games around the property. It is also close for day trips to Palisades Reservoir, Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We may come again.

Great place, wonderful experience

We were impressed with everything about this property. Beautiful view of the mountains out the front and back doors. Private location, well stocked with all needed items. Comfortable beds, all was as described. Peter was quick to respond when contacted. We loved it and would stay there again.

Secluded quiet property that has great space for kids to play. Owner very easy to work with.

This property was perfect for the reunion of college friends and families. Two spots for Rv’s and plenty of room for people to tent camp on outside lawn. The house is an older ranch house so if you’re looking for immaculate marble tops and room service this isn’t for you. We found the house to be warm and comfortable for our stay and the kitchen was perfect for a large group. The wrap around deck could use a little love but the view and size of the deck is awesome. Love the fire pit and the jungle gym play area for the kids. We had 6 kids that consisted of one 1 year old and five 4-5 year olds. They ran around and played outside chasing butterflies and playing tag. We had to drag them inside. Not once did i hear i want to watch tv or play with iPad. It was wonderful. Also it’s close enough that one day we ran up to the palisades and let the kids play in the lake (brrrrrr!) and on another day we did a day fishing trip With a drift boat a friend had brought. Fishing was good. Every adult and kid in the group loved this spot and we look forward to returning. Thanks Peter and brother.

The Valley the home was in was beautiful and quiet.

The house had plenty of space for our large group. Peter met us at check in and explained how to get around the valley. He was kind and inviting. We loved having access to the pond on the hot days. Our trip was primarily about enjoying the eclipse, and he gave us some pointers about how the trails ran through the property and the possible best locations to see the event. When we weren't watching amazing shows put on by the universe, the kids played on the play structure in the back, or played ping pong in the garage. We adults enjoyed sitting in the shade. We were close enough for a day trip to Yellowstone, and to the Tetons. If we come again we plan to spend more time on the Snake and hiking in the palisades. Thanks Peter, we loved our trip!

A great home for winter fishing

We spent a week at the house during the month of February. It was a great relaxing home that met all of our needs. It is far off the road so there is complete privacy and the evening stars are awesome. Thanks for the great rental and we look forward to another week during the 2017 winter. Thanks!!

best deck ever.

If you don't mind a remote location, this is the house for you! We loved it! a beautiful deck with comfy outdoor furniture overlooking a peaceful, quiet ranch. Tons of toys, including a playset for children. Comfortable home with a well equipped kitchen. A long ways from everything but the quiet setting was worth the drive out for bread and milk.

Tranquil Beauty

This was our family's first stay in Idaho and we certainly hope it is not our last. The house was large, well equipped, and had everything we could have asked for in a vacation home. The owners are accommodating and friendly and Lori, our trail guide at the ranch, was equally as welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly with adults and children alike. But perhaps the best part is the serene setting of the house itself. The beauty of the surrounding land is breathtaking and inspiring. The solitude and peaceful setting makes one long for simpler times and less congestive places. I would be remiss if I did not mention the deck off the house and the nights here, for in the gathering darkness there appears on a clear night a nighttime sky that rivals any I have ever seen. Words do not do it justice; it is simply something that must be seen to fully appreciate. My lone regret....is that I did not have more time to stay!

Awesome home for family

We had a great time at this house with our grown children and our 6 grandchildren. Lots of fun for the young ones to play in the yard and sandbox and in the garage with the game tables. We have our own raft and did several trips on the nearby Snake including the rapids below Jackson, Wyoming. The house is in a great location for rafting. We also enjoyed Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, & Heise Hot Springs. Beautiful location and great set up!

Carl and Nessie Zitlau are long-time farmers/ranchers of this property. Carl's grandfather homesteaded on the Granite Creek Ranch, one mile down the road. Over time, more acreage has been added, and the Aspen Hills Retreat is now a part of the ranch. We have 7 grown children and 9 grandchildren, all of whom love coming to the area to work and play. A few of our children even own their own cattle and run them with ours on the forest for summer pasture.

The land adjacent to Granite Creek Ranch became available some years ago and now our cattle herd grazes the fields. We saw an opportunity to share the beauty of this exceptional 'corner of the world' with others, so we have opened up the Aspen Hills Retreat to families and other groups for their vacations, retreats and reunions.

Idaho Falls, Idaho is only a 50 minute drive (Pop. 50,000) with The Museum of Idaho, the Idaho Falls Temple and Visitors Center, a Greenbelt around the Snake River for walks, Tautphaus Zoo and plenty of shopping.
Heise Hot Springs Resort is a 25 minute drive with 3 pools and a 350 ft slide in the cool pool offers a natural hot pool choice for everyone in the family. A Zip Line has been installed on their mountain.
Yellowstone Bear World - a drive-thru bear and wildlife park is a 35 minute drive.
Palisades Reservoir and Ririe Reservoir are 30 minute drives for boating and fishing.
The famed South Fork of the Snake River with world-class fly fishing is just a short 3 mile drive, plenty of parking for your boats at the Retreat.
