Perfect getaway!

This stay was exactly what we needed and this property was absolutely gorgeous! It was clean, stocked with all you need to be comfortable, and the hosts/property manager was amazing! I recommend this place 100%.

The property was accurately descrived. This is a beautiful location and a very comfortable cottage. The location is perfect for exploring this part of Wisconsin, walking the Muir trail and traveling to see Amish country Wiaconsin's

Very cozy, quiet and beautiful stay

Our stay was excellent! A few rain days kept us in which was just fine . Plenty of games, good books, and felt comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well.The beds are comfortable. Great place!!

College friends celebrate 62 years of friendship!

We gather yearly in various locations…perfect place and perfect time for relaxing, visiting, walking in the woods, and savoring sitting and enjoying the lake view! So clean and comfortable. Unique furnishings and well maintained. Yes we all loved being there! Had good meals at various restaurants in Montello too.

Awesome Getaway!

We loved everything about the cabin. There's even enough kitchen supplies (pots, pans, plates, bowls, etc.) that we could enjoy our meals without compromise. The four seasons room is great for eating, reading, and playing games. Our 14 y/o absolutely loved it as well and has stated repeatedly how much he's going to miss being there.

We are caregivers for my brother with Alzheimer’s. This was perfect to relax & not think of any responsibilities. The lake is calming & the great blue heron was a plus to watch all day.

Relaxing getaway

Great getaway location

The hosts have taken everything into consideration in making this a quaint little getaway cottage. The property is well maintained yet rustic. We were there over thanksgiving and it was quiet and peaceful. The night sky was lit up at night with stars and the morning sunrise over the lake while enjoying a cup of coffee was stunning.

Perfect, quiet, nature get away

The property was great, the lake was calm and perfect for our 2 boys to explore. They caught so many fish right of the dock and using the peddle boat. The nearby town was so cute. The ice glacier nature trail was beautiful. The property itself was cozy and had everything you need to be comfortable. I found a nice path to walk the dogs, so literally, everyone in our family had a great time.

Summer getaway

My two boys and I had a great time in the cabin and could not ask for a better stay. We had everything we could ask for in a clean, fresh and modern cabin. Boys loved the upstairs for chilling, movies and games in the evening. We enjoyed the lake for fishing and swimming during the day. The paddle pontoon is a hit, absolutely perfect for the lake. Its a quiet beautiful little lake with nice neighbours and great fishing.

Exactly what we needed

Sons birthday getaway

We wanted to get away for our sons birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Such a beautiful cabin! Our boys loved the boat and fishing from the dock! Checking out the area

I booked this property to take some time becoming familiar with the Montello, Wi area. To my delight the property was immaculate, well-appointed and was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. It was a challenge to pull myself away from the tranquil setting.

Spent a week with the family. Place was clean and well kept. Our son loved the different options for things to do on the lake! Only downside was the beds, we had to go buy mattress toppers as the beds were incredibly firm. Even with that i found the couch to be softer, so ended up there all week.

Relaxing and Beautiful

Our hope was to find a place where we could stay at the property, read a book, play a game, watch TV, take a walk and enjoy a home cooked meal. This was the place. My wife and I have very demanding jobs which leave us very little time to relax. The long weekend we booked gave us both what we needed. Thank you for the beautiful and quiet surroundings. Love to come back in the summer.

Relaxing views

We had a lovely time at the cabin. Everything we needed was available and the views were great! Plenty of room, clean and the extra games/puzzles were a huge bonus. Kids loved the loft and grown ups loved the back room. We had s'mores, played games, built puzzles, checked out the waterfall, candy store and farm stands. We also went canoeing down the river and hiking on the ice age trail! Great cabin and great hosts! Thank you for a great week.

Vary peaceful.

You need to tell people that there is a dumpster at the end of the driveway because you can't tell it's a green house in the dark. One of the sliding glass doors doesn't lock. The house is beautiful. Gas grill didn't work. Thanks for letting us stay.

Guys hunting trip

Went up with 2 buddies for a turkey hunting trip. Clear instructions for check in. Everything was very clean and organized. Anything I needed to know was also in a binder on the property. Coming back midday for lunch and eating lunch in the sunroom with the view of the lake was always a treat. Very cozy. Owners also made sure to check in and made sure everything went smoothly. Will be renting again for future hunting trips.
