WATERFRONT!! VIEWS!! Retreat for some R & R at this 7 acre pristine Maine waterfront oasis with 700 ft of shoreline for relaxation, fishing, kayaking and blueberry picking. Start you morning with a cup of coffee watching the eagles catch breakfast. Pack a lunch and kayak right out back in the Goldsboro Bay. Or grab a quahog and clam in your own backyard. A short distance away is the stunning coastal beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Several close restaurants nearby as well as the Steuben Country Store. Or grab some local lobster and watch the sunset. Whatever you decide on plan on some amazing relaxation and serenity.

Perfect Acadia region getaway spot. Very happy with the property. Exactly as listed. The panorama views were amazing! Loved how quiet it was out on the property. We had a lot of deer visitors during our stay. Would rent again.

Great location, spectacular view! Check in was super easy. Clean. Owner very responsive to a blown fuse (don't use air fryer and microwave at same time..lol). It was fixed within the hour. Quiet, beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the bay. Loved our stay and would do again!

Great vacation house!

The house was perfect for me and my 3 teenage kids. We loved the location and the access to the kayaks and the bay was great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated all the local recommendations for food and places to visit as well!

Great vacation house on the water. Very quiet and peaceful. Very nicely furnished with everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved having the kayaks to use too! Would stay here again as well as recommend to others.

Beautiful refreshing retreat

We had a lovely time here. The property surpasses my expectations. My favorite part was watching the eagle’s nest!! Everything was well done; nicely furnished; beds comfortable; house very clean. I loved all the windows! Definitely recommend this property!

A beautiful piece of Maine

What a beautiful very private location! No immediate neighbors, so quiet! The rental was clean and well appointed. Check-in was easy. We had one question when we arrived and received a prompt response. Very kid friendly. We had our 8yr old grandson with us and he loved the trampoline, soccer balls, closet full of toys and games, the bunk bed and of course exploring the large private beach. We would definitely visit again!

Outdoor Haven

What a nice stay! We had a lot of fun digging for clams, exploring the shore during low tide, observing all sorts of life, and the isolation! We saw one fishing boat during our week stay so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. We did not get to kayak but they were there. Next time! The added bonus was picking black raspberries for our waffles! The house is well stocked and space for everyone. Like other said, prepare for mosquitos outside. Beds were comfortable and plenty of entertainment choices if you want to relax. It is a bit further away from the major places so we needed to plan accordingly. There are some local places to shop and eat that we tried. The Winter Harbor Co-op is a definite! For any gluten free needs, Dunbars has limited options but they are there! The closer to Bar Harbor and you get more options. Kevin was great with communication and gave suggestions. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation and beautiful sunsets, this hits the spot.

While looking at places to stay fir a few weeks I kept returning to this property. I'm greatful this is the one we choose even though was an hour to bar harbor(still an easy drive) The house was perfect for our family of 5. Next time I'd plan to stay more at the property. So many things to enjoy this property had all our needs. Very welcoming and private. Would definitely stay again!

Do not hesitate
this is the place to book for your next Maine/Acadia/Bar Harbor vacation. The property was beautiful, peaceful and well kept. The home was just like the pictures with all I needed for the stay. It felt like home and I could tell a lot of love went into the space.

Beautiful, private, ocean view retreat.

The house is a three bedroom gem, stocked with what is needed for a comfortable stay with beautiful views. Stueben is rural, coastal Maine - so some people might not appreciate that. Private transportation is a must; no attractions are walkable. But we enjoyed our visit very much
both for the beauty of nature and for the privacy when at the cottage. And as our base of operations as we took the Winter Harbor ferry to and from Bar Harbor one afternoon. And on another afternoon we drove to nearby Birch Harbor for a fried clam lunch (including a glass of wine) at Bunker Seafood and Spirits. This was our second stay in this cottage, and we enjoyed it as much as the first one.

Great house on the water

The house was very clean and was quiet. It was about an hour outside of bar harbor which was perfect for our family who does not like to stay where it is crowded. The views were awesome and we wnjoued the house a lot. Kitchen was fully stocked. 3 bedrooms were perfect for my family with 2 teenage daughters.

Family vaca

The location was great. Close enough to Bar Harbor to visit but far enough away to avoid large crowds. Exactly what we were looking for. Amenities were great. It is clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

There's approx. 7 acres of private coastal property, with plenty to explore. There's apple trees, low bush blueberries, raspberries, and black berries too. Wake up in the morning to watch the eagle's hunt for fish in Parrit cove behind the house. Then plan the day either hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or swimming (depending on time of year) right in the backyard.
Nearby is the Schoodic peninsula part of Acadia National Park (Beautiful) that is only approx. 20 min drive from the house.
There's a seasonal ferry that runs from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor maneuvering its way through the abundance of lobster pots. Or drive to Bar Harbor, it's only approx. 45 min or so from the house.
Don't forget to swing by the Fisherman's Co-op to grab some fresh lobster, fish, crab, clams, etc..
Finish up dinner and get cozy by the Fire pit.
The sunsets over the bay in the evening are unique every night. Sit on the back porch and watch for shooting stars.

On each property line is a freshwater creek/ stream that identifies the boundaries. During the peak season many small fish (especially smelt) can be caught during this time.
Watch the lobster boats set they're gear/traps during the season in the deepwater behind the house.
