We booked this property for a teenage girls church retreat. It fit our needs perfectly! The adults were able to have plenty of space and beds while the girls were comfortable on beds, air mattresses and the couches. Having several bathrooms was extremely helpful as well. The pictures and information communicated from the hosts prior to the booking was accurate and helped us be completely prepared before arrival. We definitely enjoyed our time at this property!

Getaway with friends

A large group of friends and myself were able to spend a few days in Athens, playing some golf and going to the UGA football game. It was a great trip, and we had great accommodations. The house was perfect for our needs, it was clean and in good shape, and communication with owner was very good as well. I would stay again!

Perfect Home for a Group!

Excellent home for multiple couples by offering privacy and group gathering spaces. Lots of extras and we needed for norhing in the kitchen and bath.spaces.

Conference trip

Great house, neighborhood at first made us a bit nervous but turned out fine. We struggled to book due to the 3000 security deposit.

Youth trip

We had 6 adults and 6 youth to stay for a weekend. We came for a church mission project. The home was perfect for us. Just enough bedrooms and the bunk room was great for our 5 boys. The basement/bottom level was perfect for me, the youth leader, to have my own space. Overall, was a great, quiet place.

Great stay for our family for a wedding at the Thompson House and Gardens. LOTS of space for 10 of us. Great neighborhood and lovely back porch. Only complaint is the floors need to be cleaned better. They left our socks a little soiled. Otherwise a terrific property. Just as it looks online.

Perfect for a large group of children and several adults

The room that slept 8 was plenty big enough for the 8 that slept in it. The lower basement bonus room was perfect for our two teen boys to stay in. they could have slept on the pull out coach but the sectional was just as comfortable for them. With extra air mattresses we could have slept even more. The three queen bed bedrooms were perfect for the 4 adults to untilize. Plenty of seating for family style eating and plenty of tvs for different tastes to watch different things

Great Stay

Our stay was for a wedding that was held at the State Botanical Gardens. The venue was about 15 minutes away. Our group was three couples and 8 kids. This floor plan was perfect for our group. The adults and kids had separate hangout spaces. The two refrigerators and two washers and dryers were great. The home was clean, and the owner was very responsive.The home is full of thoughtful touches-you can tell they have really considered guest’s needs.

Athens Gem!

This property has been recently refurbished and is in beautiful shape in a quiet wooded neighborhood. Spectacular deck with bbq and more with long bar facing woodlands behind home where you see an occasional deer. It worked out great for my wife and I, three of our grown kids and their spouses and 6 grandchildren ages 4-9. We were all visiting from out of town to attend our other sons wedding in Athens. There is a wonderful bunk room downstairs where all 6 grandkids where able to sleep and hangout. The owner was very accessible via text or phone and accommodating with all our questions. It was an excellent value compared to other properties we researched in the area. It is set up very well to handle 20 + people as advertised. Highly reccomend!
