Thankyou to all our guests, their reviews, and descriptions. We really enjoy hosting a place in Hot Springs. So, to update this for the winter months. This is a small cozy house with electric heat, and a wood stove, toasty warm and cozy. there is one queen size bed, with a down comforter, and one twin bed, with a down comforter. there is tv and internet. the bathroom is supplies with extra towels, and bathrobes. The kitchen has all you need to make a meal, or two, coffee provided. The yard is totally fenced in, convenient, to let a dog out. Our town is great for going soaking! with a nice variety of places to eat, or, and drink. the Shady Rest is about 4 blocks from town. so, the shady Rest is kinda like a cabin in the woods, but in Hot Springs, which is kinda like in the woods. This is also a great location to explore around Montana, alot to see, just a few hours away, then return back ro Hot springs, and soak in the hot mineral water!!
We love it, and would like to invite geust 's to enjoy the small town charm, Hot Springs has to offer.

Relaxing

It was cute, quiet and near the hotsprings. We enjoyed the stay and it was super cozy. Our hostess was easy to work with. We would 100% do it again!

Peaceful setting

Sweet cabin

It's a small cabin with a wood stove and a cozy stone patio to catch some rays. The artwork and decorations are lovely. The only heads up I'd give is to point out the hot water comes from the underground caldera that feeds the hot springs in the area, and it smells of sulfur. Bring your own drinking water

I love this place

The location is perfect. Quiet, peaceful. The winter time offers the opportunity to relax by a fire. Snow outside, tranquility inside. Just a gem.

Peaceful and cozy

Small house is very comfortable and host is very accommodating. The house is well stocked with linens and kitchen equipment. Beds are very comfortable. Located on quiet street in a friendly walkable community.

Adorable and Affordable Overnight Stay on a Road Trip

We like to take our time when we drive home from a long vacation. This time it was on our way home from Glacier NP. Towns like Kalispell and the ones on Flathead Lake were ridiculously high priced. Scrolling past them is how we landed in finding this gem in Hot Springs, MT. Located in a quiet neighborhood where the neighbors are friendly enough to strike up a conversation just as you're trying to reorganize your extremely fully packed Crosstrek. =) The inside of the home is quite spacious. Kitchen had what we needed for our minimalist dinner of dessert and grapes (had dinner back in Kalispell). We were able to wash up our camping dishes. Bed was comfortable and I fell asleep in no time. Bathroom has ample countertop space. Tons of towels. Lots of space to move around in. Shower has good/strong water flow. All the faucets are upgraded. Clean and not cluttered. Deer munching on bushes outside the window. Gorgeous fenced garden on the other side. Ample parking space (enough to dry out our giant rainfly). The fridge is small but the freezer was strong enough to freeze our Yeti ice pack! Perhaps my main tip is bring your own bottled water (or fresh water if coming from Glacier NP) as the water in this town will have that sulfur smell/taste to it. I'm sensitive to it, husband is not. This propert was so cute! The whole area was really cute and quiet so many deer on the street! Cute places to eat around it as well. Only downside is that the internet went down after day 1 but it was pretty rainy. And the water. The water smelled heavily of hydrogen sulfide so the pipes might want to get checked out. We had to use water bottles to clean our hands but other than that the stay was amazing!

Nice private house

We stayed there while on a road trip. Very nice small house with everything you need. Host was very nice and recommended a hot spring to visit that was fun. Good value at the price and would stay here again.

We had a perfect stay! Hotsprings has been a destination for us to soak, see the lake and simply unwind. The home was cozy and oh so cute! We had everything we needed! The yard was gorgeous! Trees, shade, garden, plus so many places to gather outside! Host was quick to respond and oh so friendly and helpful! Definitely hope to stay again!

Shady Rest is a charming little house in the little town of Hot Springs, MT. It was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and spend 1 on 1 time with my adult daughter. The owners seem to have thought of everything that one might need. We truly appreciated walking into the cool house after a hot road trip. We also appreciated the pitcher of cold water and the ice cubes waiting for us in the fridge. The owners have a beautiful yard with several lovely flower gardens. We also saw several deer on the street closeby. It was so nice to be somewhere quiet and restful.

We loved our stay in Hot Springs!

The house is a cute, cozy little place that was perfect for our little family. Could use maybe a new sponge in The kitchen, and we were expecting a washer and dryer based on the property description (can see the hookups in the bathroom, so I'm sure they used to be there. Wasn't an issue though, as there is a Laundromat within walking distance (everything in town is within walking distance). The town has a handful of great mineral hot springs to soak in. The hosts provided lovely bathrobes and slippers to use for the baths, and plenty of extra towels. We hope to make it back to Montana again so we can stay here. Thanks Tonna!
