Located in the tropical archipelago of Bocas Del Toro, Casa Clearwater calmly sits in the serene, crystal clear, blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Built in 2014, the 4500 sq. foot tropical/modern design lies over a pristine reef on a private 9 acre property.......a unique & special place to spend a relaxing holiday.
The space
Casa Clearwater is an intimate eco friendly home completely self sustaining and off the grid with solar power and fresh, filtered catch rainwater.
In typical Caribbean style, the design opens on all sides allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular views & tropical breezes anywhere in the house. Spacious shady decks invite you to experience & enjoy the indoor/outdoor environment that is Casa Clearwater. The large dining table & "Burgundy Bar" serve as comfortable gathering spots for meals & relaxing conversations while others swim in the "Caribbean Pool".
2 stand-up paddle-boards provide access to the beautiful reef surrounding the house for snorkeling with the many friendly multicolored reef fish or diving for lobster.......or you may just want to wait & buy it from the local Indian fishermen who paddle by in their dugout canoes with fresh caught fish & lobster from the surrounding reefs.
After your day in & on the water, you can rinse off in one of two outdoor showers while watching the sun set behind the ten thousand foot high mountains on the Panamanian mainland which blow their cool mountain breezes thru the night. Daytime air and water temperatures average 85 degrees Fahrenheit with delightfully cool 70 degree evenings.

2 Stand-up paddle boards, 2 kayaks are provided . It is recommended to bring your own snorkeling gear or it can be purchased in Bocas town for around $25 per set.

Thank you for selecting Casa Clearwater for your vacation. We try our best to ensure your comfort and safety.
Therefore, because of the worldwide heightened concern for health, we have instituted several changes to our cleaning procedures.
The kitchen is fully equipped, but due to COVID restrictions, and for your safety, we thoroughly clean and sanitize the kitchen and refrigerator and dispose of any and all food stuffs.
For this reason, before check-in, we recommend you purchase the following items when our manager Teo takes you to the grocery store when you arrive.
In addition to all food you may need for your stay, include the following:
-Ice
-Bottled water for drinking.
-Paper towels & napkins.
-Condiments and cooking oils.
-Purchase all beverages COLDđ„¶âŠ..(This will help refrigerator cooling when you initially fill it with room temperature items.)
Enjoy your stay and donât hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
-Guests will be met at the airport & transported to a water taxi that will take them to the property. There, the property manager will explain the details of the accommodations. Also, our on site caretaker is always available to assist you and provide 24 hour security.
BOAT TAXI FEES & TOURS
-Bocas Town: -1 free round trip daily between 7am-7pm included. (The daily trip to town is non-transferable or credited if not used)
-Extra trip: $5/person ($20 minimum each way)
-After hours: $50 (negotiable depending on time of night)
-Red Frog Beach: $10/person ($30 minimum each way)
-Starfish Beach: $10/person ($30 minimum each way)
-Full Day Tours:
#1: Dolphin Bay, Coral Cay, Red Frog Beach- $200 full day (park fees not included)
#2: Coral Cay, Zapatillas Key, Sloth Island- $200 full day
-1 Day Laundry Service: laundry cost & $25 transport fee
-Maid Service: $100/day (optional)

If you do anything while in Boca del Toro, you must stay at Casa de Clearwater. This house is truly epic. Located above approximately 10 feet of crystal clear water, you can watch fish from the deck - or splash in for snorkeling. The views from every room of the house are magnificent and feature mountain ranges across the bay and not another house in sight. My partner and I saw dolphins one evening and it was magic. We also love to cook and the kitchen and outdoor grill are excellent. Lots of plates and all manner of pots/pans. It is easy to shop for everything you need in town. Bring everything with you - from paper towels to salt/pepper to olive oil. This shops sell mini-sizes so it not a problem. Every evening a local fisherman would canoe up to the dock and offer live lobsters, red snapper and also crab legs. (Heavenly and so fun!) As regards the house - the towels were plentiful, the sound system rocked, the showers had hot water and the beds/pillows were super comfy. I also loved that they provided cotton hammocks to chill on the dock. Just do it. You canât go wrong. It is solitude in the best possible way. The only thing that youâll wish for is one more day.

Casa Clearwater! Holy smokes. That was a sweet spot. We decided to do a fun travel trip with the kids. Now we are a FL family so we are all about beautiful water and views. This place nailed it. My wife and I, our older daughter and her husband, and our youngest tween LOVED this location. Everything is as stated for the house and so much more. My wife is already trying to find a way back and I havenât even finished unpacking. I fully understand why you have a waitlist for your location Mr Nicholas and team. Amazing execution on everything. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us. The family memories we all made there will be cherished forever. This is a canât miss. You will be seeing us again in your reservation calendar.
