Good but could’ve been better

Trash cans were full when we arrived and were never emptied. House got hot at night as a/c temp went up at night. Had a bit of a problem getting into house as we did not get the code before we arrived. Pool was nice, enjoyed the games and house was good.

Great place for the stay!

The location was good for us. A ways away from downtown, but still within driving distance. The house met all of our needs for our first family vacation. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a great place to stay with a family!

Great for family!

This home is conveniently located to stores, the Air Force Base and Sea World. Beds were very comfortable. There were 6 of us and we were able to spread out. The pool is nice to have. The property managers were amazing with their communication and customer service!! We had a great stay with our new Airman!

Plenty of space.

My family and I stayed at this VRBO in San Antonio for a reunion at location near by. Home is large enough and it’s easy to see why a few spots were missed when last cleaning was done. Overall the homes size & amenities were sufficient.

Quick Family Vacation

Nice property good space. The pool is a plus. Plenty of activities to do at the house. TV options to include Apple TV, and other streaming on all tvs. Good washer and dryer ( plus since we wanted to pack light) with a large family 3 adults 5 children. Close to Lackland Air Force Base where our daughter is in BMT.

Wonderful home!

Three of us stayed for 2 weeks. The beds were comfortable, the wifi was fast, and there was room for family dinners when we had them over. The pool was clean, as was the house. I knocked off a star on cleanliness because there was broken glass and bottle caps in the backyard. We cleaned up what we could, and if I had mentioned it to the owner, I'm sure he would have gotten it cleaned up. The owner was very good with communication. Great place and highly recommended!

Air Force Family Member Graduation

Our family get together was for the joyous occasion of my son"s basic training from the US Air Force at Lackland. The home was perfect only 15 minutes from the base. The house was spacious and comfortable for our large family. Unfortunately, we. did not have enough time to enjoy the pool. Had some minor issues. but they were attended to immediately. We definitely recommend it. WG

Great for BMT Graduation

This property worked great for our son's BMT graduation. It is about 10-15 minutes from the gates nearest the graduation areas. It was clean. Plenty of bath and pool towels were provided. It was slightly smaller than expected but it did not cause any issues (great photo angles lol). There was a good variety of kitchen pots and pans that made it easy to cook his favorites while he was there. Possibly helpful information regarding bathroom arrangement/bedroom layout: - bathroom with the vanity and chair is in the bedroom with the queen and twin bed. This room and bathroom are downstairs. -bathroom with the double sink is in the bedroom with the king bed. This room and bathroom are upstairs. -third bathroom is upstairs in the hallway along with the bedroom with 2 queen beds and the bedroom with the bunkbeds. In response to the reviews about the temperature, we were there with temps in the mid to upper 90s and did not have issues. Both the fans in living room and game room are amazing and actually made us have to grab blankets while sitting under them. The host has it posted that you can turn down thermostat down to 69 degrees.

Great place! Highly recommend

This house was perfect for us. We were in town for my son's Air Force BMT Graduation. The house is conveniently located, just under 15 mins from Lackland AFB. There was plenty of room to spread out, and the common areas were perfect for hanging together. The pool was clean, lots of pool toys and floats, plus plenty of seating and games to occupy our time. All the restaurants and stores you could possibly need are close by. I think it was only a 20 or 30 minute drive to Downtown San Antonio. The only "issue" we had was the air conditioning, and i imagine that is going to be an issue anywhere in texas in the middle of summer. It was on a timer/schedule which is understandable, and we learned that you definitely have to keep the bedroom doors open at night, otherwise it will get really hot. We tried to keep the temperature set higher when we weren't going to be there to help conserve energy, and kept watching the thermostat when we were there to make sure it stayed comfortable. Overall, we were very happy!

Family vacation

We stayed here for a short family vacation and the location was very centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The manager was easily accessible for questions. The pool was wonderful, clean and had some supplied floats and beach towels. The house was clean and spacious, our group of 11 had plenty of space. A few things to note for future renters and the reason for 4 stars. There were ants in one of the bathrooms and only 2 washcloths per bathroom were supplied so we went buy more. The only other complaimlnt is the house has a nest thermostat and they had it set to stay on 80 degrees ALL day. So if you plan to be out all day and retun in the evening, the house will be HOT and takes a while to cool down. I understand Texas is hot and they ask to conserve energy but thought it could have been turned dowm just a little mid afternoon to start cooling the house. Overall a great rental.

Not exactly what was expected

The location was close to Lackland. We travelled to SA for our son’s BMT graduation, this house was within 20 min. The pool was wonderful. Our children,(16,12)spent every afternoon cooling off in the water. The grandparents we brought with us loved the covered patio where they could sit and watch the kids play. The fans were nice on the patio as temps were near 100. There were games that helped with some friendly competition between kids and grandparents. Before our arrival we had asked if a rolling pin could be purchased and she was very nice to drop one off during our stay so we could make our Airman his favorite apple pie. The beds were comfortable and soft and the house kept cool well. Now some things we wish we had known. The neighborhood wasn’t well kept. Most houses had junk in the yards and some had bars on the windows.The kitchen was NOT well equipped for any cooking! There wasn’t a 9x13 pan full measuring cups. The knives would barely cut the apples to make our pie. Also the cleaning supplies left in the kitchen were not adequate, the sponge was not new it was VERY used. There was ONE kitchen towel and one roll of paper towels. The house states it sleeps 13, which it would comfortably do however there would not be enough towels for everyone. We had 8 and we had to do laundry every day. They were not the nicest looking towels either. Also, the upstairs bathroom shower head was very hard and no way to adjust it. There were large closets, but not one hanger!

Great family stay!

This property was perfect for a large family stay! The pool was cold but that was to be expected as San Antonio is still cool in March. The property had pool toys and game boards that allowed us to spend most of our weekend here. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Cozy and close

We recently stayed at this property from the fifth to 9 December, for my nephews, basic training graduation. This house had everything we needed. The beds were cozy. The property was clean, and there was enough to do for all ages. The house itself is maybe 10 to 15 minutes away from bass. It was easy to navigate from the property to joint base San Antonio whether you were going to the front gate or the back gate. It was easy access to downtown San Antonio, Riverwalk, etc.. any problems we had before we checked in the property owners were very quick and diligent to answer any questions or concerns I had. The pool is nice. Kids had fun. It was a little chilly, but we got through it. What do you expect in December? I was under the assumption it was gonna be a hot tub but that was just a minor thing. Other than that everything was amazing, clean perfect and close to everything. We had a great time celebrating our new Airman’s graduation and spending time with her friends and family.

Good for families

I was very pleased with this property. We enjoyed swimming and appreciated that beach towels were provided by the pool along with pool floats. The property easily slept 6 adults and 5 kids for a family wedding weekend. It was very nice having 2 bedrooms with attached baths and a third bathroom. My kids enjoyed playing foosball and darts. Ac worked nicely—a definite plus in Texas heat.

Perfect for a family of 10+

Super easy to book! Mitchell was amazing in responding to messages. House was clean, organized and a very good size for a family of 10+. There were games, tvs, and other toys to entertain the whole family. My kids loved the pool and floats that were provided. Overall had a great experience.

Perfect

Host responds to messages and nicely answer question. The home is spacious we were 10 and we all fit. Has a nice out door area. Pool was clean. It’s in a perfect location lot of nearby stores and not far from downtown.
