I want to stay here again!!!!

This home is absolutely PERFECT!!!! The location, space, amenities, and best of all the owner.... were fantastic! Our son got married nearby, so this place was perfect for my out of town guests to stay as well as for us to do a quick change! It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood, easy to walk to town, spacious rooms, several decks, beautiful yard, and communicating with the owner was easy and delightful! I totally recommend it! It doesn't get better than this!!!

Dreamy!

Had the most perfect week at this house. Super charming and a lovely sea breeze blows through with all the windows open. Can’t imagine a better location. Very quick and walk to the beach and close / easy to any number of day trips or conveniences in town. Caroline was a wonderful host and super responsive. Already planning my next return.

Perfect week in a gorgeous house

The house was spacious, bright, clean and charming. Caroline wrote back Within 30 minutes every time I needed something and was pleasant and accommodating. We particularly loved the upstairs room with its own deck and glass on all sides and the outside shower! We hope to Return!

Awesome location

This home is in a beautiful neighborhood and walkable to Narraganset Pier and Monahans Clam Shack which also has a lovely pier. We had more than enough space and enjoyed the outdoor shower and the updated addition that has the upstairs room and deck that overlooks the yard. The owners were so responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful property-just as described!

Our first trip to Narragansett, RI and it couldn't have been better. This house is well maintained, well appointed yet not overstated so it was easy to feel and make ourselves at home. Perfect location for a brisk walk to Narragansett Town beach and a short drive to Scarborough beach.

We were excited to stay in the area for the 3d year in a row but a bit disappointed in the accommodations. House was cute and def fit our family but was hardly well cleaned when we arrived and owners had a lengthy list of “duties and rules” for us as guests. The shower was moldy, knobs fell off dresser upon openning and what they described as a “new grill “ barely worked or heated. We spent our last am washing rugs and cleaning the home only to recieve an incredibly rude and insulting email from the owner charging us 75$ for “extra maid service”. Hardly a way to remember our vacation and in my years ot renting homes in the area have never been treated this way...disappointing

Great location, plenty of room and perfect backyard.

This was our first time renting a house instead of staying at a hotel. The house was clean and well kept. From the pictures you do not realize how big the house is. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a small sitting room next to the kitchen with a large tv. The bedrooms were a good size, the upstairs bedroom was very large with a sliding door to a second floor deck that had a lounge chair and a table with chairs that seated 6. There was plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. The backyard was a large flat area...good for any type of activity. There was a 4-person table outside and the best part of the house...the outside shower. This was the only shower we used all week. There are 2 full bathrooms which also had showers. The location was perfect. You are half a block from Ocean Road and a 5-10 minute walk to the stores and beach. We brought our own bikes, though there were some available. The riding is mostly flat and there is plenty to see in a short distance. We found clamming and fishing (make a right on Ocean Rd.). If you go to the docks in Galilee you can get lobsters and crabs right from the boats. We went at 1pm and there were at least 3 boats selling the shellfish. There are many beaches to go to (there are 2 good quality beach chairs available at the house). We went to East Matunuck because we had been there before (we are not big beach people) but Scarborough beach is much closer. We went to Narraganset beach in the evenings. I was surprised at how crowded the beach was at 5-7pm (Lots of surfers in wetsuits). The beach closed at 5 so there is no charge after that, otherwise it was $8 a person to walk onto the beach plus a parking lot charge. Some of the restaurants that we really enjoyed were Turtle Soup, Crazy Burger and the Coast Guard House (all an easy walk of half mile or less). A little father was Trio and Coastal Crepes. We biked and drove to Aunt Carries for great ice cream (right onto Ocean Drive). There were a lot of fun golf courses all within a half hour. Probably our best meal was at Two Ten Oyster Bar. Great views and excellent food. Whalers Brewing Company is right down the road from the restaurant. This was a great location with good beer and a great area to hang out in. The only thing I wish is that we had a full weekend at the house (check in/out Friday or Sunday) but none of the houses had this. If I went back to Narraganset I would definitely stay at this house again.

Just what we needed

The property exceeded our expectations. Caroline was great to work with and so responsive. The house was bright, spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed from games to grill to books to boogie boards. The location worked for us as it was just minutes from the beach, eateries and just around the corner from Monahan's. Our 8 yr old soon just kept telling us how much he like the house, especially the upstairs area. It was a wonderful home away from home. We would definitely return!

Amazing!

Since moving from CT to Texas 5 years ago, we love coming back east to the beach every year. I found this home for rent online at VRBO and loved the pictures and amenities it offered. When we arrived, we were blown away by what we found. This house is spectacular! Beautiful and spacious layout with plenty of room to spread out. The kids came in and decided they wanted to live here forever! There is everything here that you could possibly want in a beach home. Including the outdoor shower which everyone used all week. The owner Caroline is very sweet and wonderful to work with. We are already planning next year and plan to rent again.

Perfect Location

This property is beautifully situated on a quiet street, yet it is minutes from everything. Our annual Sisters' Week was a great success as we enjoyed local restaurants and beaches. Morning walks along the Narragansett wall, coffee on the shady second-floor deck or sunning in the yard, there was something for everyone during our vacation. The house has a bright and roomy layout with plenty of room for all. Just great!

Great location for Family Vacation!

My family of six had an awesome vacation at this beautiful Narragansett Beach home. Location is great -- just a short walk to the sea wall. Many great restaurants in the area - we enjoyed Coast Guard House, Trio, PJ's Pub & the Picnic Basket. House is spacious & layout is great. Enjoyed coffee on the downstairs patio each morning & Happy Hour on the upper deck in the afternoon. Emailed Caroline several times prior to our vacation & she always responded promptly. Narragansett Town beach is beautiful -- very clean & nice waves. Since I'm an early riser & love to walk, one morning I saw a spectacular sunrise over the water. Would definitely recommend this home & hope to go back sometime in the future.

Academic Year

My roommates and I had a great time living in this beautiful house for the academic year. Having an ocean view, a huge backyard, and a completely furnished home was just a few of the great things that came along with staying in this house. The owners of the house are extremely accommodating, friendly, and are quick to answer when any questions or concerns were made mention. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a quick getaway or a long term stay. My roommates and I definitely enjoyed our time spent here, and wish we could still enjoy the summer months. A must stay!

Family Vacation

My family had a wonderful relaxing vacation at this beautiful summer home. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The house was comfortable for all six adults with plenty of room. The owner was very cooperative and made sure that everything was just right. I would not hesitate to vacation here again!

Wonderful beach house!

Our family greatly enjoyed a week being so close to the beach, town and many restaurants. The house is so close to the Block Island ferry and in close proximity to the Newport Cliff Walk and many other Rhode Island attractions, including the beaches. The house bikes were great for exploring the town of Narragansett. We spent many evenings strolling along the Narragansett sea wall and sitting on the pier, simply taking in the view. It was a wonderful stay for our family!

Wonderful Home!

What a terrific, private oasis! My family and I enjoyed a week long vacation, and debated over what was the best feature of the house - upstairs deck, yard, outdoor shower, size of house, etc. Location was perfect - and the neighborhood was super quiet! Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Narragansett.

Wonderful beach house in a fantastic location!

Our family vacation at Caroline's property was wonderful! We had plenty of room inside and out. Outside, the yard is huge and there are two decks and the outdoor shower was my favorite feature of the house. Inside, there are two living areas and plenty of space for everyone. Caroline was great to work with and we are already planing our return visit next year.

Wonderful Vacation Destination

For the second year my family and I had a wonderful time staying at this home and being in Nargannsett. No complaints. The location is fabulous oh how we loved the morning walks to the pier and the backyard was heaven. Can't wait until next year!!!!

This house was exactly what we wanted!

Finding a vacation house that fit the needs of 6 people was not easy. We wanted a house near Narragansett Beach, it needed to be kid friendly, in a nice neighborhood, near some fun places to visit, have wifi and a grill. This house did not disappoint. All 3 children under the age of 9 said it was their "best vacation ever," and all adults were happy. The kids loved the yard and the roomy living area. The enclosed outdoor shower was loved by everyone, even on non- beach days. The house was charming on the outside and clean on the inside. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a great vacation in Narragansett and this house was all they said it was and more. There was alot of room to spread out and a beautiful yard. You can walk down to the fishing pier at night or along the ocean wall and everything in close. I would recommend this property and have.

Great!

Very clean/bright/spacious house...five entrances...four great bedrooms...two full baths along with a GREAT outdoor shower and front and back secluded yard for cookouts and kids. Owners are easy to communicate with and very nice. We can't wait for next year!

A Vacation get away

This home was wonderful with lots of light and sunshine and a back yard to die for, with no mosquitos. My husband, son and daughter-in-law were very comfortable and look forward to a week in the summer of 2012. Location was great and I enjoyed the bike rides every morning.

Relaxing & Inviting

The owner was very helpful in answering my questions and her description was right on. It was perfect for my family and we enjoyed walking to the beach daily. The yard was beautiful and there were plenty of spots to hang out; on the second floor deck, patio outside sliding glass door on first floor or in the yard relaxing on an Adirondack chair sipping a cool drink after a hot day on the beach. We had no rain, but if you did the house was well-equipped with board games, TV and DVD library. Location is great because you can either bike or walk to downtown for restaurants and shopping.
