One of the nicest rentals we have ever had. Kevin and Kathy were the perfect hosts. The house has everything you could want and more. The house is so cozy and comfortable. The property has so much to offer. The hot tub was amazing. The sauna was a great addition. The property is just incredible. The beach is just minutes away and the location is perfect for exploring Manitowoc and Two Rivers as well as Door County. Hoping to visit again next year!

Great location! Beaches within 5 miles either direction. Trails for hiking and biking. Loved drinking coffee on patio and watching wildlife, the birds, squirrels and even saw a baby raccoon. Screened in area in back with hammocks was very relaxing! Kevin was very responsive to any questions and providing information about the area. Would love to stay again!!

This was our second stay at The Hummingbird Retreat and once again it did not disappoint! We stayed for 4 days and celebrated our family Thanksgiving. Every aspect of the Retreat is set up to be relaxing and for creating memorable moments. We loved every moment!

This beautiful home was a great choice for our New Year getaway. Home was clean and as-described. Hot tub and sauna were great and easy to use. The location is quiet and fairly isolated, but close enough to make a run into town without having to block out half your day.

Awesome memories made. Everything you might possibly need is furnished. Sauna, hotub, outdoor shower and screen house are great amenities! Can easily walk and bike to trails and beach. The Hummingbird is great!

We live this spot

We love staying at this property! We love being able to relax at the end of the day of adventures in the backyard. Inside has enough space for our group to relax if the weather is bad. The host is responsive to questions and issues.

The trip was our annual mom/daughter trip. The stay was very relaxing. The hot tub, sauna, and outdoor shower were perfect. The beach along lake Michigan was just breathtaking.

Wonderful retreat

We loved this charming retreat home for our family get-together. Lots of special areas to gather, great amenities and fabulous location made it one of our best stays. Would absolutely return and recommend for anyone.

Great space

We loved our time at the Hummingbird Retreat. It was great to be able to come back from our day's adventures and relax in the amazing backyard. We loved being able to relax in the hottub and sauna. The kitchen had all the things we needed.

Three Rivers

Enjoyed the fire pit, the lanai and the hot tub. A comfortable and cozy spot near Lake Michigan. House well designed, kitchen well equipped (especially with coffee!).

Magical Relaxation at Hummingbird Retreat!

The Hummingbird Retreat was everything it promised and more! The moment we stepped onto the property all of our cares melted away. We fully enjoyed every moment of chilling in the beautiful kitchen/dining/living area. And topped off every evening in the sauna and hot tub. We are planning our next vacation to the Hummingbird Retreat now. We cannot wait to return.

Our getaway for the yeat

This property is simply amazing. Made leaving home easy with all the added supplies they provide! Our kids kept busy with all the games, fire hot tub and local trails. Simple amazing!! Cheers to wonderful host!

You'll love this house!

Really nice layout, decor, new appliances, great kitchen and bathroom. Awesome exterior, including fountains, a patio strung with party lights, an outdoor shower, inviting fire pit, and more. We've rented a few houses along this road, this one is the best!

We loved having Jenny and her husband with us at the Hummingbird Retreat during thier conference at the Hamilton Woodtype Museum..We hope to have them back for next year's conference..

Girls’ Weekend

I brought my 4 daughters for a long weekend and it was perfect. The deck, hot tub, and screened porch were definitely our favorite! All the little creative touches were inspiring. And we loved the beautiful walk to the beach. Just a lovely property all around!

We really liked the house. Kevin was very nice. He greeted us when we arrived but made sure we were given plenty of privacy. The sauna and hot tub work great! The house was clean and everything was in working order. Plenty of hiking and biking directly from the house. Point Beach State Forest is very close. Quick drive or decent hiking to the beach. Two Rivers and Manitowoc are a short drive for shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at the house. Very relaxing and great fun.
