We arrived and the condo seemed warm. Not a big deal at first. When it hit 87, I realized the air conditioning was not working. I contacted Vacasa and they had no solution. We went out to eat to cool off and when we returned, we found cockroaches in the kitchen. We ended up being moved to another property. Just an awful and gross place. There was nothing extra in the place. Not even a coffee filter

Great place to stay!

The home was great! Loved the ocean view and only a short walk down to get to the beach. It’s the second time we stayed in this condo and will definitely be staying again in the future.

Ok

Condo has great access to the beach with nice view of ocean. They offer plenty of hangers and fresh towels. It could be cleaned specifically the floors.

Family Trip

We brought my elderly father in law up to see the island again. We had a great time, there was an issue with a missing parking pass but i told the property manager and it was handled. Overall we had a great time and were very comfortable in our room.

Great stay for long weekend

Condo was clean. Oceanfront view is always spectacular. Bed is very firm but that is my preference. We stayed here to be near other family members at another townhouse so we did not do any cooking.

Condo has problems

No TV and the Internet worked off and on. Took two days for someone to come check and it didn't help much. The furnishings were not good. The grey couch shown in the picture may hurt someone if used. All the living room furnishings need to be updated. The Internet and cable TV really needs to be taken care of.

Great Location!

The beach front view was beautiful and we were a short walking distance from both the beach and community shared pool which was fantastic! Our kids really enjoyed the pool and we visited it as much as we did the beach. It was great! The place itself was very clean and had a spectacular view of the ocean. I would've given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for a couple of things. The WiFi in the condo didn't work unless you used a laptop to connect as my husband and I couldn't get it to work at all on our phones. And the kitchen was slightly lacking in normal every day items like cookie sheets and plastic wrap which we had to make a special trip into town (a 10-15 minute drive) to purchase these items along with aluminum foil and zip lock bags. With the exception of this slight inconvenience, overall our stay was very enjoyable and I highly recommend this condo if you're looking for easy and fast access to both the beach and a pool.

Ok stay

Location, beach access & pool were nice. Cosmetically the room looked nice. The sheets & towels were clean & sufficient for our stay with a washer and dryer which was helpful. However, when we entered there was sand all over the kitchen counters, mattress covers & couch. There was a tone nail on the nightstand and the remotes were sticky. Several lamps were broken. Not all the electrical sockets worked. There weren’t any mats for the bathroom floors to help with dripping from in & out of the shower so we had to use hand towels. The master bath was really tight on size & we’re not big people. So overall, we enjoyed our trip, the few areas lacking in the room didn’t take away from our experience.

Steer clear!

This property needs serious updates. Only has one tv, it went out 10 minutes into our 4 day stay and it was never replaced—we were promised twice it would be but was not. The ice make did not work, repairman came to fix but his replacement part was broken so he said, sorry it won’t be fixed. Living room furniture uncomfortable and falling apart. Kitchen had very minimal amenities. The master bath is so small I could only see half of my face in the mirror while I got ready. The sliding glass doors are messed up to the point you can’t really see out. The very worst part was dealing with Vacasa. This was not the property I booked, moved us because the HVAC was out in the original unit, the second bedroom had only twin sized bunks. Did not follow through with replacing the tv. I asked multiple times to speak with someone about compensation for the multiple inconveniences we experienced, never once was I given a manager or contact information for a manager. I will never deal with Vacasa again.

Outdated but clean

Love how close to the beach this condo is. While we were there the beach access ramp to our building was being redone; so unfortunately we had to walk quite a ways to the next accessible ramp. The condo was outdated but clean when we arrived. There are no rugs at all in this condo (not even by the doors) to catch the sand and dirt from your feet so I spent a lot of my vacation sweeping the floor. I like cooking and the kitchen was stocked with most things you need; but there were a few items I couldn’t find. The ice maker was not hooked up so we had to run out for ice almost daily. Although everything was in working order it wasn’t good working order; felt as if most things were going to break at any moment and the toilet seat in the guest bath finally did. The beds were quite uncomfortable. We could not shut the door to the quest bedroom because it would get so hot you couldn’t sleep. Having to drive to pick up a key from the reality office that didn’t even work for the door was also wasted time. They do give you gifts at the office for your stay, but the door was code accessible so it was not necessarily a benefit to me. Overall we made great memories being with our family and that’s what was most important to us.

Don't recommend

The location was a great spot. Over all though I wouldnt recommend. Security issues, the building and condos are not in the best shape. Door handle was broken, they did someone to fix it, but they couldnt/didnt. Room was filthy upon arrival, it hadn't been touched or cleaned after the last people had left. The Master bedroom covers had bodily fluid all over it... ( wording it as nice as I can). I had small children there was 7 of us, to get comfortable I cleaned the first 2 days to get everyone comfortable. Took the covers off the master bed and tucked them in the closet to keep the kids away from it. I had to wash all the kids covers and sheets, they were filled with sand. Showers and bath tubs as well i sent pictures to Vacasa and they apologized for the room. Nothing else was offered to be done, like a new blanket etc. Thankfully I had one. I brought from home. I cleaned up the best I could and was able to enjoy the rest of our vacation but it was a real disappointment. Being a mother to 6 children, its hard enough much less having to spend your vacation right off cleaning and fixing up a room you paid over 2000.00 for. Their was roaches on the balcony so we couldnt keep the doors open to listen to the ocean. The door handle wouldnt lock appropriately. Sometimes it would lock us out and sometimes it wouldnt lock at all. Theres more, but not enough space to write it all. Over all the veiw was beautiful. But definitely wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful Location

We loved the beachfront location. Quick and easy beach access. Kitchen was very nice loved the granite countertops. Very nice layout and flow to the condo. Ocean views from kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. It was great having a washer and dryer. The people are very friendly in the area. We felt safe and no worries at this location. This makes the 3rd summer visiting North Topsail and it has became our favorite beach.
