Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees waterfront paradise. Located on Drowning Creek, just 5 miles east of Disney enjoy all the amenities we have to offer. Boat dock to tie up, swim deck, water slide, high dive, kayaks, paddle boards and fish cleaning station.
This property has a gentle slope to water, outdoor shower, fire pit and patio to enjoy the amazing views! This is a brand new build.
Enjoy all of the 46,500 acres of water or rock climbing and trail riding below the dam. If there is a weekend or weekday that you are interested in that is not available please contact us.

Relaxing family getaway

The lake house was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lake. Clean and up to date furnishings and appliances make it comfortable and convenient. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. There is a little bit of a drive to town but once you get there you don’t want to leave. Can’t wait to go back again!

Spring break

Our stay on grand Lake was so relaxing and needed. We loved the kayaks and the access to the dock. Even though I didn’t catch any fish this time. I’ll definitely be back. The area was peaceful, and the owners are so kind.

Stellar retreat (emphasis on treat!)

My four adult children and I enjoyed a multi-day stay at this charming home. We greatly appreciated the feeling of privacy. The host was readily available via message for questions but otherwise left us to enjoy the multiple amenities of the well-stocked home. We had plenty of room throughout. We particularly enjoyed the surrounding scenery, the dock with swing and access to the water. The water supplies such as a paddleboard and lifejackets were much appreciated. We used the fire pit three of the four nights. The patio outside the house was comfy and roomy. The proximity to hiking trails and eateries and convenience stores was helpful. We all agreed that we would love to come back. Thank you for a great stay.

Awesome Views

The property was very nice and met our needs. It was very well stocked. The dock was great, we enjoyed sunning. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. It is very steep getting to the property and down to the lake. There were some cobwebs around but it wasn’t a big deal to us. I definitely would recommend this property.

Summer Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the property and it was perfect for our getaway with friends. We loved all the extras with the water activities. The walkway to dock was short and easy. Property was new and clean. TVs and internet were easy to use and worked great! Todd communicated quickly any time we had a question.

Hidden Gem

This was exactly what we needed. A great place to rest and relax but also with plenty to do. We swam off the pier and paddle boarded a lot. We had a fire every night. We also cooked dinner each night and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place was bright and airy. The views were wonderful. I had several questions before we arrived and a few once we were there and the owner was quick to respond and super easy to communicate with. My kids are teens and we made some great memories here - there were even asking if we could come again next summer.

Great Host, Excellent Property, would recommend

My husband and two grown children spent 5 days at the property, and everything was perfect, no issues at all. Host was VERY responsive to my questions and everything we expected to have at the property was there and available.

The house should have better markings to find it. It was very hard to find. Had a hard time finding which went to the outside lights and fan. We never found the switch for the fan in the main area.

Beautiful location

Second time coming here. Stayed longer this time and so glad we did! Communication with owner is always a breeze. Cannot beat the views. Nice and private. Your family will have a blast here!!

Perfect!

Perfect home & view! Great get-a-way for our anniversary! It had everything you need and then some! My husband is very picky on beds, due to back surgery years back, he said how comfortable the bed was! Great communication with the owner and fast response. Awesome lake house

This is such a cute little lake house. It was quiet and has a beautiful view! The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating! My only suggestion would be to have long handled grill tools for grilling. Great place overall.

Beautiful Lake View, Isolated Location

We had a very relaxing, quality-filled family time weekend getaway here. It is a drive away from everything & the driveway is steep. The property is Beautiful & they provided board games & s'more supplies. The TVs did not work, including the DVD players (but who really needs a TV at the lake?). It also got pretty cold at night & the thermostat did not allow us to adjust the temperature. Also, the hot water for showers was not hot, so I’m not sure the hot water heater is set at a comfortable temperature. The kayaks were not available, but the weather was too cool for getting in the lake anyway. We really enjoyed our stay, but probably would have enjoyed it more during the summertime. The family time, the view & the swing on the dock were definitely the best part of our stay!
