The 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom lake home sleeps 10 comfortably and is situated on Lower Mission lake, known for premier fishing. The lake connects via channel to Upper Mission lake providing over 1550 acres to enjoy on the water.

The home features a fenced backyard, fire pit, two decks, screened porch, level walk to the lake, and welcomes you with all of the essentials to feel at home. Its convenient location surrounding the Brainerd lakes area is a perfect setting to enjoy family vacations, family reunions, and fishing trips.

Perfect fit for our family! Place was spacious. LOVED the screened porch with the large table that allowed us to all sit together during meals and play games. Loved the fenced in yard for the pups and kids (Grandson's made us of the sand box. This really was a nice place to stay and Daniel was so great at getting back right away to questions we had.
After every rain there is beauty ❀ This was while we were sitting on the porch one evening.

Wonderful Week

We had an amazing stay! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. We were a bit worried we’d be on top of each other if it rained but it is bigger than the pictures show and there was plenty of room for all 12 of us. We loved the screen porch for family meals and hanging out. Good dock fishing for the kids and the pedal boat was a big hit too. Highly recommend!

Simply Lovely

Trust the pictures and descriptions. Daniel and Lina's place is lovely - with a flat expanse out back that leads directly to the lake. All of our family (ages 18-76) had a wonderful time - the dogs LOVED the fenced in yard. Our "kids" (ages 18 and 21) LOVED the paddleboat, games and fishing equipment. And the adults LOVED the much needed A/C and comfortable beds. All parties spent SO much time in the screened in porch - enjoying the benefit of the outdoors without the bugs. Highly recommend!

A lovely get-away

We really enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed the paddle boat and also brought our own kayaks and a paddleboard, so we spent a lot of time on the water. We had a large group and the accommodations worked really well, especially the big screened porch, where we had all of our meals and played a lot of games. I would rent this property again!

Perfect getaway!

My family--husband, plus my three sons and their families--stayed here for 4 nights. The house was perfect for us--plenty of bedrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, screen porch for meals. The lake was lovely--lots of fish just casting off the dock.

Family Vacation

This place was amazing. the screened in porch was a life saver. Very family friendly and very comfortable. Water access not the best due to weeds but we made it work. Fenced in yard was great for our dog. I highly recommend.

Family week at the lake

This is a comfortable and relaxing home. It has all the amenities you need for a quiet week. The fenced yard area was great for our dogs and we loved the large screened porch! The owners were very responsive to our questions.

Perfect Place

Our stay on Mission Lake was perfect for our family of 12. The cabin was extremely clean, well shocked with towels, supplies, kitchen utensils, pots/pans & everything a kitchen needs. The yard is fantastic! The fenced-in area was a huge bonus for our small dog. The games and Foosball/air hockey tables were a huge hit, too! And the porch... such a perfect, peaceful addition. We would definitely recommend this VRBO property to family and friends.

Nice property with accurate pictures

The house was exactly as described and very well maintained. It does use well water so you may want to bring your own bottled water. Fishing off the dock was really not possible, the weeds were thick and impossible to avoid. The paddle boat had a leaky pontoon, the owner was prompt in responding to my message. Between the inability to fish from the dock and not having a paddle boat, the week was a bust with the kids. A nice property but we would be unlikely to repeat.

Cozy Cabin

We had a great time and a great stay. All the comforts of home. Very child-friendly, with tons of toys and games. The washer and dryer were a definite plus as we had a two-year-old who loved the sandbox. Plenty of dishes, soap, shampoos, etc. Very nice not to have to worry about running out.

A fun time

The property was fine. The parking was a little tight as we had four vehicles plus a boat but we made it work. The kids (4,8.& 11) loved it. The accommodations were good. We enjoyed our stay!

Best Relaxing Vacation!

We had a wonderful time here. We spent a week at the house and it was perfect. Great location to just chill out and relax but close enough to Brainerd to have activities to find. Our kids loved the dock and using the Kayak and Peddle boat. Great fishing! The looked exactly like the photos and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking tools to make your favorite meals! Daniel was very quick to respond to any questions and was helpful with directions, etc.

Great house and yard.

The house was very clean and well equipped. The four bedrooms provided more than enough room for seven adults. The grassy and fenced yard was perfect for our pups. Only negative was the you really could not swim off of the dock due to many reeds. Nice sand bottom and clean water, though. My son caught a great fish that we fried up! Overall, great stay!

Relaxing and fun

We had an outstanding stay at the Merrifield cabin. The location was great, right on the water and close to Brainerd and Crosby/ Ironton. My kids fished every day. The yard and screen porch were awesome. Comfortable beds, soft towels, they even had wine and a s’mores kit for us. We already want to go back.

Relax and unwind with family and friends!

We had 4 Adults and two dogs with lots of unused beds. The cabin and property are quite large and beautifully maintained. The owners have updated the Kitchen, and many of the appliances appeared to be brand new. They even added central air! The weather was in the high 70’s and only one night did we turn on the air. The cabin was very clean when we arrived with lots of extras. The owner even provided a personalized welcome card and a detailed rental guide. We spent most of our morning and late evenings playing many great games provided by the owners on the large screened porch. We enjoyed are meals at the large farm table on the porch. During the day we played lawn games and gathered near the fire pit enjoying the breeze and fishing 🎣 from the dock. My sister said, this is “Camping Class”. The bedrooms were large, the bedding was beautiful and individual towels were left on each bed. The cabin has been updated in many areas but still maintains its cozy charm. The fenced in area was a nice touch for letting the dogs out without a leash. This would also be great for small children. Our dogs loved laying in the shaded screen porch and being in the fresh air as much as we did. When we rent again, we will invite more family and friends!
