Great Catch Cabin - Exquisite Log Cabin on Goodyear Lake w/ hot tub

Great Catch Cabin - GOODYEAR LAKE - The exquisite workmanship in this log cabin style home is evident in every detail. Located on the northeastern shore of Goodyear Lake, right on the water. Enjoy overlooking the lake from the this vacation retreats' lakeside hot tub on the deck.

This unique home has a very efficient floor plan. The first floor is open and full of natural light streaming in through the large west facing windows and French door leading outside to the large deck over the water. The living, dining and kitchen area all enjoy a lake view. Located off the living room is the first floor bedroom, with a queen size Murphy bed and a full bathroom. The 2nd floor master loft has a queen bed and a pleasant sitting area with two wing back chairs. An on suite bath with custom tiled shower and a generous closet round out the loft. The water view from the loft is amazing - catch the sunsets from this west facing cabin!

A family room is located on the lower level with a TV, Foosball table and several board games. Families often comment about the fun times and memories made playing games together. Throughout Great Catch Cabin you will find original artwork created by your host a very unique touch. Your hosts' also have an amazing array of collectibles and memorabilia to browse.

Goodyear lake is great for swimming, boating, paddle sports and fishing! The fishing is great in this area, especially for large mouth bass, this cabin is aptly named. Your hosts provides a paddleboat for family fun. If you want more water toys to play with there is a kayak rental and gear shop on Goodyear Lake where you can find everything from bait for fishing to a canoe for rent and more.

Great Catch Cabin is centrally located between the two most visited youth baseball tournament parks in the area. This is a great choice to enjoy the area and feel like vacation while you are here for the tournaments. The village of Cooperstown is 15 minute drive or less north. The city of Oneonta is 15 minutes south.

Charming!

Charming place with great views. Host was great to work with and very convenient to Cooperstown Dream Park for our tournament. We were very pleased staying there!

An amazing week in Cooperstown

We stayed here as a party of five. My husband and I and my parents and one son, while my other son was playing in Cooperstown. This property exceeded our expectations. We loved every aspect of it, but the best part is definitely the views.

Lovely Stay While at All Star Village

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. Watched a LOT of baseball; caught 4 fish using the paddleboat, rented poles, and worms; squeezed in two trips to Cooperstown. My fave: a cup of coffee lakeside in the morning. Owners were responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
