The Loft at Oak Shores - Awesome waterfront retreat, close to Dreams Park

The Loft at Oak Shores - ARNOLD LAKE - This delightful, unique waterfront was built in 2009, and updated in 2020. The Loft at Oak Shores is a studio apartment on the second floor. No one else lives in the building. It is located on Arnold Lake with 120’ of private waterfront, complete with private dock. Arnold Lake is the closest lake to the Dreams Park.

Stocked with Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout, Arnold Lake is a great spot for any fisherman. Your host offers a canoe for your use. Guests at The Loft have their own private dock. There is a beautiful view of the lake from your own private deck. The private deck overlooking the water is ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing.

The interior features a delightful space with cathedral ceilings with fans set in recessed spaces. This is a perfect choice for a family of 2 - 3, visiting the youth baseball tournaments at the Dreams Park, which is only a 10-minute drive.

EV Charging is available at an additional cost paid directly to your host, if you choose to charge on-site.

Note: Your hosts live nearby on the property in a separate structure. They are available if you need anything.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet

Had a great stay! Enjoyed the dock, fishing, and walks/runs around the lake. It's very easy to get to Dreams Park. Nancy and Kevin were great hosts.

Nice quiet location!

Great stay at Oaks. The hosts Nancy and Kevin were very kind and their 2 dogs were nice to snuggle. It was so quiet and relaxing sitting on the dock. The lake is so clear and was refreshing to swim.

Amazing Stay!

The property was gorgeous! Right on Arnold Lake with direct lake access to fish and swim. So quiet and serene. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and very comfortable. After a day at the ballpark, it was refreshing to come back to a quiet place to decompress. The hosts were also so helpful, hospitable, and full of advice. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great stay

Great location to Cooperstown Dreams park! Was perfect for my husband and I since our son stayed in the park most of the week. The canoe and fishing out on the lake was a highlight! Nancy and Kevin are great hosts!

Lakeside coziness

The loft was perfect for our stay in Cooperstown. The property was spectacular with our own dock and beautiful views of Lake Arnold. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a cute place to stay within 10 minutes to the park, this is it. Or if you are looking for a nice little getaway, this is it.

Amazingly Quiet and Clean Escape!

We were in Cooperstown for the first time with our son. We booked The Loft for our stay and it was truly amazing! The property is very clean. I have very high expectations when it comes to rental properties and this place met those expectations, which rarely happens! The place it just as pictured. Nancy and Kevin are amazing hosts who are there to help in any way they can. They have fishing poles, a canoe and kayak that they graciously offer the guest to use. My kids loved it! Also, their dog Boomer was such a sweet boy with my kids. We highly recommend anyone visiting Cooperstown to stay here!

Close to Dreams Park! Beautiful Lake, great hosts!

We had a great stay at the Loft. Comfortable beds, clean, AC, and coffee provided (yay!) the loft is a short drive from Dreams park -10-12 minutes max, very easy to get to, with a northbound approach to the park so you aren't hanging in the left turn lane for 3 light changes to get into the park. Great location to stay. Nancy and Kevin were welcoming, friendly, and have everything you need to make the most of your stay. The location is at slightly higher elevation and with the breeze on the lake it's the perfect place to cool off after a hot day at the park. The lake is spring-fed and the water is crystal clear, its beautiful. The place is well cared for, clean, and Nancy and Kevin have fishing rods, life jackets, floaties/rafts to relax on, and Kayaks - everything to make the best of your time when not at the park. The bull frogs are cool, and you can count the fish right off the dock -- we probably caught over 20 fish off the doc in a matter of a few hours. Great for swimming too! The bed was AMAZING and my younger kiddo loved having a little "room" to himself. They also had big umbrellas we could borrow for the day, and provided beach towels. They also have an air bed which we used for our player when his team checked out a night early. This place was such a find for us! Than kyou for having us Nancy and Kevin!! - the Presslers.

Perfect Spot to Unwind Between Games

We loved this loft during our week in Cooperstown! The location was ideal, being only minutes from the field and on such a quiet and beautiful lake. Our family likes to stay active, so we enjoyed the morning run along the mostly dirt roads around Lake Arnold, a swim in the lake and playing catch in the front yard. Our boys fished from the dock and from the canoe, while I read a book on the lawn. Even the rainy days were beautiful with the views from the loft. We each took turns sleeping in the "alcove bed" and loved waking up to views of the lake next to our pillow. Everything was clean, cozy and comfortable. Although there is initially just a full size bed and a twin, we were able to use a blow up air mattress when our older son checked out of Cooperstown Dreams Park barracks for a night, so we had all four of us sleeping comfortably. He said it was the best nights sleep all week!

Quiet Lakeside Retreat

We had a great week at Oak Shores. It was such a nice break between games to come back and relax along the lakeshore. The hosts are amazing and go out of their way to ensure you have a great time. After seeing where some of the other parents were staying and/or how far they had to drive to get there from Dreams Park, I felt we made a good decision staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again; 10/10!
