Great location for visiting the Golden Circle. Lovely view. Good restaurant nearby. Kids loved the hot tub. Very clan, good Wi-Fi, great bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Fantastic Stay with Responsive Owners

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We were well taken care of. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our 2 nights in their home. The home's location is convenient while peaceful. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom with a tub and shower, and 1 1/2 bathroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Waren mit der Unterkunft sehe zufrieden. Alles sauber und gut ausgestattet. Kleiner Wehrmutstropfen ist die laute Wärmepumpe. Mit Ohrstöpsel aber alles okay. Dafür ein sehr schöner Pool.

Great house

This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. There looked like there was a vegetable stand around the corner but we didn’t end up needing to stop. We did two day trips from the house, 1. Geyser, Gullfoss, secret lagoon, haifoss and 2. Out to Vik visited black sand beaches, hikes and waterfalls. No feedback really but if I had to say anything it would be to have instructions on how to use dryer.

Beautiful Spot to Stay

This place was a great place to rest. Clean, comfortable and what a view! My only negatives: I didn't get communication on how to check in until about 30 hours before I needed to check in (that was starting to worry me a bit little bit), the hot tub wasn't filled up (although the owners tried to talk me through filling it up) and the sauna was full of stuff so it wasn't usable. The hot tub and the sauna didn't really matter to us since we really only used the place to rest but if that is something you are interested in make sure you talk to the owners about getting those things ready for use. Other than these minor issues, we loved the place and would certainly stay here again.

Father, son and sons-in-law adventure

This was a very clean and complete house for our party. We chose it based on the number of bedrooms and the location with regard to our agenda and it satisfied those needs well.

Golden Circle Villas is a family owned company, established in 2014, that owns three villas in the South region of Iceland. The villas are located in a small greenhouse village, Laugarás, 3 km from the historical place, Skálholt Cathedral. The villas are all new or newly renovated. Two of the villas can accommodate 10 persons each and the third villa can accommodate 6-7 persons. The villas are rented seperately but it is ideal for larger groups to rent the villas all together as they have space for up to 27 persons. All our villas are located within 100 meters distance from each other.
