Juniper Island is a private 10-acre island and log cabin that offers everything for a memorable vacation. Guests can enjoy a large deck and lawn, private water for floating and fishing, a basketball court and arcade games, and a riverfront firepit.

With accommodations for 12 people, the 3,200 square-foot home is only accessible through the gated bridge, and is ideal for large groups and family reunions.

Wonderful Private Retreat

The whole extended family loved this property. It offered privacy and quiet yet close to all of the areas attractions. We were there for a wedding in the area, but can't wait to go back to better enjoy the property and all it has to offer!

True oasis out in the country

Enjoyed the game room, fishing, firepit, river, and kitchen, and rooms. A private property that you probably don’t ever need to leave, but is close to great adventures and activities that might make you leave.

Beautiful Large Log Cabin in Nature's Natural Setting

When we were not visiting West Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole and the wonderful scenery of Idaho our five grandchildren enjoyed the "gym". They played ping pong, air hockey and basketball. The wooded island setting with trails is truly beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub most every evening after our daily sightseeing. This was the most completely stocked VRBO we have ever rented. All ten of us (5 adults and 5 children) were completely satisfied.

Rigby Stay

Beautiful house and grounds. Can’t say enough about how the kids loved it, they were sad to leave. Moose visited a couple nights which was a hit. Really a great place to relax and the gated drive way with bridge over the river really created a sense of seclusion. Hoping to come back..

Perfect Retreat

We stayed here the night before and following my son's wedding in Idaho Falls and had a family/friends dinner out on the back lawn. The large island in the kitchen was the perfect buffet table. It was such a beautiful, peaceful setting. I wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the river...I guess we just need to go back

Spring Break

We have daughters is college nearby and wanted to get the family together. We loved having a great location to get together for fishing bike riding skipping rocks and playing games. This place was awesome and all the kids want to go back again

Spectacular House and Grounds

The house is exceptionally clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was so peaceful and pleasant sitting outside with the view of the river and in such a private setting. Kitchen was a great gathering place and plenty of room around the counters. Beds very comfortable! Lots to do in the area and such a beautiful area of the country. Rigby has a very nice supermarket called Broulim's that more than satisfied all our needs. I also recommend The Hygge Day Spa that is less than 10 minutes from the house for a relaxing afternoon. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to rent this house again. It is great when a house exceeds your expectations and this one sure did.

Great family rental for a group!

This was a great rental for our small family but could have hosted a whole group with big bedrooms and lots of beds on either side of the house. Everything was clean and the property was nice and private surrounded by wildlife (we saw a mama moose and baby) in the river surrounding the property so that was a treat. Close enough in to town to get things you need but far enough out to feel like a cabin in the woods a bit. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen were stocked and updated and clean. Host was so nice and responsive to work with...would definitely return!

Fantastic property and incredible stay

Lots of amazing memories were made during our stay at Juniper Island. This property was better than advertised and had something for everyone. Loved the layout - having two bedrooms on each end of the house was helpful for the early risers to not wake up the late sleepers. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated having a variety of spices and condiments available. We hosted a bbq for about 25 people of all ages and fit everyone comfortably inside and outside. The property felt private and remote yet is only a few miles from town. We took full advantage of the space - fishing, hiking, hot tub, floating the river, fire pit, lawn games, swinging in the hammocks and enjoying all the seating and deck spaces. Five stars and hope to return again soon.

Incredible Cabin Retreat

I stayed at the Cabin with my family and it was absolutely wonderful. The hosts’ attention to detail was impeccable and everything was thought of. The entire place was spotless and everything we needed was provided like soaps, towels, extra blankets, etc. would highly recommend this place for anyone considering it for a family retreat.

Beautiful, relaxing home and property

South Fork River Fishing Trip

The property was exactly as proposed and was the perfect fit for our fishing group! A huge highlight was the quality and responsiveness of communication both prior to check in and throughout our stay. Proximity to numerous sections of the South Fork of the Snake River as well as Sections of the Henry’s Fork made the location idyllic. Already looking forward to next year!

Idaho Island Retreat

My family had a great time at this property! It was very spacious, very clean and had great amenities! The perks included a very well stocked kitchen with every utensil and gadget you could need, lots of space for sleeping, a great hot tub and even plush towels for the hot tub and showers. We look forward to returning in the warmer months so that we can enjoy the creek that runs around the property too. We also enjoyed a short drive to Kelly Canyon for skiing, which was 15 mins away. It’s a great little gem of a getaway!

Perfect place!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! The place was kept nice and clean, and was secluded providing us with a wonderful family time experience. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, the Traeger smoker, soaking in the hot tub and just exploring the grounds. Inside the cabin, we enjoyed games, made great food and just spent time together. We also explored the surrounding areas and went to places like Bear World, the Philo T. Farnsworth museum, rode ATV trails in the nearby hills and headed up to Warm Springs and Mesa Falls. The owner communicated with us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect vacation for our family and we definitely will want to use this property again. Five stars all around!

Paradise in Idaho

We immediately felt the tranquility and privacy of Juniper Island as we crossed the bridge. There is something for everyone here. The inside/outside of this property is so tastefully decorated. Definitely gives off that "WOW" factor around every corner.The grounds were impeccably clean from the mowed yard and trail to the outdoor furniture and all of the gorgeous potted fresh flowers truly emitting a sense of pride of ownership. The seemingly little touches throughout made a BIG and impactful impression! The spaciousness of this home provided comforts beyond expectation. The cleanliness level was off the charts. The kitchen was abundantly stocked. We appreciated all of the seating around the island and that huge sun-lit dining room. Having two refrigerators at our disposal was great! The floorplan of this home is awesome. The beds were all very comfortable and all linens, towels, blankets etc provided for the guests were neatly organized. Lauranna was a delight to communicate with. She was cheerful and helpful with any inquiry I had. During our stay, there was only one issue that I needed to contact her about. It was promptly addressed and resolved within a couple of hours. I feel the bottom line with any review is simple. Would you or would you not likely ever return? Luxury, Comfort, and Hospitality

Our family wanted a special getaway for Christmas and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. This house had everything we expected and much, much more -- including a lighted, decorated Christmas tree in the living room and special Christmas towels throughout. Touches like that made us feel so welcome! There are four bedrooms, two on each end of a very large living space. That made it ideal for those who wanted to sleep late or take a nap during the day. The dining room easily seats 12 people, and the closet was filled with loads of board games, cleaning supplies, and dog supplies, including a couple of beds. We had fun eating and playing in the large, well-lit dining room. The kitchen was a masterpiece! It was equipped with nearly everything a person needs to prepare three meals a day for the entire family. I was pleased to find dishwasher soap, dishwashing soap, sponges, rubber gloves, and lots and lots of kitchen towels, hot pads, and pans, dishes, and bowls. So well equipped, including coffee, creamer, and tea! Also, it was the first rental I've ever stayed at that had lots of storage containers for leftovers! The hot tub was clean and wonderfully comfortable when it was 16 degrees below zer outside! The fireplace in the living room was WARM and inviting. The furniture was wonderfully comfotable and cozy. And speaking of comfortable and cozy ... the beds were among the best I've encountered. The bedding was lush and plentiful. The ample closet space housed lots of extras ... pillows, sheets, blankets, and even cuddly stuffed animals for the children. Towels were thick and absorbant. And there were plenty of them! Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, soap, and air freshner. Even the rugs were soft and cozy. Oh ... and the tile floors are heated! And so was one of the toilet seats. That might not interest those visiting in the summer, but when the wind chill is 40 below zero, they were a luxury! There's more, but I'll let you delight in those discoveries as we did. The owners were helpful and inviting. Every correspondence was answered within minutes. Every question answered. Every little challenge solved. If you are looking for a wonderful place for a family vacation, you will be glad you chose a place like this! And there's a very well supplied grocery store only 10 minutes away. A big thanks to the owners for helping to make this a Christmas to remember!
