Clean but needs some work
This house is clean and conveniently located between the wineries and town. Online communication with the property managers was very sweet. The beds, while mostly small, were very comfortable.
We arrived two hours after check in and the on-site property manger was in the house, however, still working on it. He told us we were in the wrong place and caused some confusion.
The site is not the peaceful place we pictured (sprawling farm like property with cows, etc). Itâs chopped up between properties, and the grounds look very run down. 290 is visible and right within earshot from the house.
There was not much toilet paper, or any trash bags or paper towels onsite. The property manager brought some over quickly⊠but only two of each item. If you stay here, youâd need to bring plenty of extra paper goods and water bottles (there is no filtered water). It would take the house to a higher level if the owner invested in a nice Keurig, and a full set of plates, cups, mugs, bowls, glasses, etc, as most of these were very dated (and not in the cute vintage way) or there were only a few of (if you can sleep 11, you need more than 2 bowls and 7 coffee mugs).
We had to chuckle at the duraframe fireplace. Itâs a plastic box that heats up and âlooksâ like wood. It would have been so sweet to have a real or gas fire!
All in all, the owners were sweet but the property was not as described and the lack of kitchen items was an issue.
